Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi | PSL 2019 - Final | NSK | March 17, 2019 | Match Thread

If PZ lose this and still retain losers like Amin and Maqsood for the next session then their managment deserve some phainty from the fans.

They acquired both of them this season.... some real dumb thinking by "think tank"

Kami on merit should be playing aheaf of Sarfraz but in an ideal world..

His keeping let him down in 2010-2011. If he would have improved his keeping he could have played for Pak for further more years. His batting ability was never under question. Last time when he was tried couple of years ago at that time he played as a fielder and that time his fielding let him down.

With both of hardwork could have been really valuable for Pak but unfortunately he wasted his talent especially in the peak years of his batting,

Water boy Akmal has been extremely shoddy in the field.

Hasnain bowling as if he has been playing international cricket for 5 years.

Very impressive. Hasn't all been about pace.

First learn how they measure a bowler's speed before commenting.

yeah i'm going to take advice from the person that thought pakistan should forfeit the match against india.

learn about cricket as a whole first then give advice

Hasnain not bowling as fast as I expected from him, but he's bowling intelligently

Even bowlers like Cummins, Starc, Rabada are not touching 150 kph in every match. Hasnain has bowled with an avg speed of 141 kph which includes slower ball which is really good pace, more than avg speed of most international bowlers of other teams barring few.

Zalmi is too dependent on Kami having a great start and Pollard and Sammy cashing on it; today Kami failed and we can see the problem

sample size is too low; nothing special so far about him

Didn't say he was special or the same about the matches but let's not be jumping to conclusions. It's better to say that domestic cricket is incompetent and isn't producing batsmen capable to handle international pressure.

Stop embarrassing yourself. Kindly show me where I said this?

Just remember, it is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it.

I would select a domestic batsman only when he has spent 3 years at highest level in domestic: 1st year he scored big, 2nd year teams against him make adjustments and he suffer, 3rd year he make adjustments in his game to counter opposition and score big again. Then we know that we have a good batsman who will survive/excel in international cricket.

You never discard players like him if there is no real replacement. Sarfraz was good for tests but Kami should have continued the limited overs format. Surely Pak could have get more out from Kami.

How many of those have we seen in the last few years? Babar and Imam?

Still it's early for both of them.

A request to all posters, please don’t get personal and enjoy today’s match.

This is not the time to get toxic, just enjoy the match.

i reckon if they get to 160 it should be a good contest

Peshawar made the biggest mistake by not playing Misbah who should have played instead of Maqsood tonight.

Amin at 3 with Misbah at 4 would have been my choice.

Babar yes, Imam no. Imam is not the best Pakistan has to offer. He get selected over more deserving players because his uncle is chief selector.

I know that's why I mentioned these two names as they are the only ones off late who have done relatively well early on in the start of their international careers.
