BPL 2025-26- List Of Pakistani CricketersWhich pakistani players are featuring in BPL? Apart from saim ayub, amir, farhan and maaz.

What's the purpose of this league, no notable name in one of thee team playing today neither overseas nor local

Has bowled around 4-5 no balls though costing around 12-13 extra runs, couple of wides too I think. 3 overs for 40 so far.Good to see isanullah bowling 140+
But it's impressive that he is bowling 140+ even after botched surgery and rehab. Tells you how much potential this guy had when he first burst into the scene in PSLHas bowled around 4-5 no balls though costing around 12-13 extra runs, couple of wides too I think. 3 overs for 40 so far.
Rambo commentating. Zainab being the presenter.
That's like making BPL the clone of PSL from the presentation point of view.
The guy is always on Tiktok asking for money and playing battles with people. He's probably made a decent amount already and might get a hair transplant with it as he's already lost the frontal at the tender age of 23.But it's impressive that he is bowling 140+ even after botched surgery and rehab. Tells you how much potential this guy had when he first burst into the scene in PSL
Yes I seen some of the no balls they were questionable very tight calls I was referring to his pace because I was led to believe that after his injury he was bowling 80 odd mphHas bowled around 4-5 no balls though costing around 12-13 extra runs, couple of wides too I think. 3 overs for 40 so far.
I don't blame Abrar for pulling out of BPL because he must've feared having to wait and fight for his money for sometime as some are already waiting for theirs for a few years.

In contrast SA 20 is packed. Amazing fun to watch. Why the empty stands?

It was full in the match before this one, but the local team was playing. Why the empty stands?
It's a testament to the high quality of the BPL that there are no pie chuckers like Bumrah here and the foreign international level players are almost exclusively PakistanisSaim scored 28 off 15, then while chasing 190 Sahibzada scored 20 off 19 playing so many dots in the process, can't even score those odd couple of 6s to bring his SR to 110 or so against mediocre bowlers, is only good for bashing pie chuckers like Bumrah.
It is probably the lowest quality league, on par with ILT20 in terms of shadiness. It's a testament to the high quality of the BPL that there are no pie chuckers like Bumrah here and the foreign international level players are almost exclusively Pakistanis
it is worse than ILT20 in terms of shadiness and has been for well over a decade.. I have contact with lots of past players from BD local leagues and the amount of fixing is unbelievable. everyone knows itIt is probably the lowest quality league, on par with ILT20 in terms of shadiness.
What a load of bull tripe Akhtar just fed themBy the way, Shoaib Akthar is currently working as a mentor for Dhaka franchise. This is his debut BPL stint.
'Teach how to win matches' - Shoaib Akhtar's plan for Dhaka Capitals in maiden BPL stint
Shoaib Akhtar wants to pass on a few tricks to Bangladeshi fast bowlers in his first stint in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as a mentor, with Dhaka Capitals. This will also be Akhtar's first stint as a member of the support staff in the T20 franchise circuit.
"I've never been part of the BPL before, but I've heard that it's doing great," Akhtar, who last played competitively in 2011, said in Dhaka on Monday. "Finally, I had the opportunity to come here and be a part of it. I want to pass on whatever I've learned, especially about fast bowling, motivate the players, give them a few tricks to win matches and elevate their mindset.
"My job will be to give confidence, teach how to win matches and, through Dhaka Capitals, reconnect with the Bangladeshis, one of the most beautiful nations in the world."
Akhtar had high praise for Bangladesh's new crop of fast bowlers, who have risen through the ranks and have performed as a unit in recent years. He also complimented the national team's bowling coach Shaun Tait, who, in his prime, was Akhtar's competition when it came to the speed gun.
"I want Taskin [Ahmed] to break my speed record," Akhtar said. "The pace battery that you're talking about, I think it's looking good. I really hope that they make it far in the [T20] World Cup [early next year in India and Sri Lanka].
"Shaun Tait is one of the best coaches you have when it comes to fast bowling. You don't need me after Shaun Tait. I'll be honest with you, I think you're going to keep on working with him. He is one of the fantastic guys, one of the most honest people that you can have."
Akhtar had a bit of advice for Nahid Rana, the fastest bowler in Bangladesh's history. "The advice for Nahid Rana is to keep your training level up when it comes to the muscle mass," Akhtar said. "Fast bowling is all about taking the stress on the body. And the body only can take stress if you have the muscles. And the muscle, the lean muscles, the high-repetition training. And keep the pace up and keep the attitude right up on the ninth sky.
"I have so far seen that in Taskin. And he is looking very good, he is looking sharp, he's looking focused. And so is Nahid Rana. I think if he keeps on going along with a great training session and when it comes to training properly... I'll give him an advice at the same time, if I ever see him. I'll tell him the trades and secrets of training. If he gets that, I think he will go far. But the most important is the attitude that you have towards life, and that reflects on the field."
Bangladesh will not play any more T20Is this year, and will head into the T20 World Cup with only the BPL games under the players' belt.
"I hope Bangladesh become a force in the coming World Cup," Akhtar said. "I want them to be one of the greatest forces to reckon with. This is one of the most exciting national teams, and I really hope they go far or somehow manage to climb up the ladder and win the World Cup."

The only reason games should be postponed if there's any civil disturbance in the cityThis has to be the dumbest and most unprofessional league in cricket.
First the funeral in the cricket stadium, now postponing games for the passing of a former pm....
Ridiculous.

Why would there be any civil disobedience when a person passed away through illness or old ageThe only reason games should be postponed if there's any civil disturbance in the city

Ur thoughts on the funeral of the coach being held after the match in the same crixket stadium?Yeah. It is too much. It is not like she was assassinated or anything. She died from health complication/old age.
They could've done 1 minute of silence and kept on playing I guess.
Ur thoughts on the funeral of the coach being held after the match in the same crixket stadium?

Fair enough. I don't know Bangladesh politicsWhy would there be any civil disobedience when a person passed away through illness or old age
There is too many gaps between the matches. I already lost interest in following. BD sports management is really really poor.

@Rana, I don't see you crying here???Saim failing again after trying to stat-pad his way to a score, absolute bonkers how out of form literally each of our batter looks in these leagues.
Yeah, I mean Saim is intentionally an anchor?
LOL... so now the excuse is anchor??Yeah, I mean Saim is intentionally an anchor?
Is Saim intentionally a slow player??LOL... so now the excuse is anchor??
Yep, the mental gymnastics are Olympic levelLOL... so now the excuse is anchor??
Bro.... bro bro.... I can just laugh at these excuses.... explain why did you not say a single word on his inning???Is Saim intentionally a slow player??
