"Ramiz got sufficient time to prove himself but unfortunately no one was happy with him": Moin Khan

Moin Khan speaking to the media:

"Ramiz got sufficient time to prove himself but unfortunately no one was happy with him. He was running board affairs single-handedly,"

"I hope this change brings some betterment. Sethi is mature and had already worked in PCB. I hope he will not repeat his old mistakes and run PCB affairs smoothly"

We get it Moin, you’re still angry that your boy got dropped from the WT20 squad.

lol noone cares about country, reputation or success of the team. Personal agendas will come out now.

It will be funny if his son still doesn't make it to the team and then after few years Sethi will be criticized too

He has a point. Rambo was a lot of talk, that’s it. And even the talk was nauseating

Expect to hear a lot of such stuff. Every man for himself.

Well, whatever his vision was…he can blame Babar and Saqlain for ruining it for him

No..only stupid people blame chairmen for the acts of managers or coaches..those who don't understand how large organisations function and who have never gone beyond peon level..

Ramiz apparently was told constantly by the PCB legal team that it will not be easy for the govt to remove him because of the 2019 Constitution in place. I think he was shell shocked as how everything came crashing down so quickly in 1-2 days where he had no Plan to react.

The large organisation is judged by its practical output

Your bread earner is your flagship product. In the case of the PCB, that is the men’s Test team

3-0 loss at home is the end all I’m afraid

Moin Khan to become chief selector again :najam

He was actually a pretty good chief selector. Wouldn’t mind him or Inzi back.

They had some blunders as all selectors do, but way better than the power point guy who blatantly signed off on a 37 averaging bowler.

Except Test cricket hasn’t been our “flagship” product since the Inzy - Woolmer days

Well, losing the Asia cup, T20 series v England at home and the World Cup wasn’t the final nail in the coffin was it? It was the 3-0 defeat v England at home that sealed the fate of this management

This is a great move by Shahbaz Sharif and at the right time. Defeat in Test cricket resulting in major changes should send a shockwave through the nation

He’s only better because he’s better in absentia. As we all know, in Pakistan cricket your stock rises by not being in the spotlight, no matter your actual competence. You only need to see the hilarious job done at Quetta Gladiators, and all the other franchises he runs, to know that Moeen ain’t it.

If I could make anybody the selection team, it would be the ISLU technical team, who make their draft selections based on actual data.

Agreed.

Wasn't Moin sent back home from WC 2015 after being clicked at a casino the day after Pakistan had lost to WI by a record margin.

And that 2015 WC team he selected, was the worst ever squad to represent Pakistan at a WC.

People really have short memories.

He and Aqib Javed are vultures.

Ramiz wanted to appoint Aqib as the head of the NHPC but refused to pay the extravagant salary that Aqib demanded. Since then Aqib has been spewing nothing but hatred for him in the media.

In other teams Team management like the Captain and coach are under scrutiny after losses but in Pakistan the chairman gets blamed and removed, interesting :). Let's see what changes the new chairman brings in and how drastically he can turn this team into world beaters.

Surprise surprise all the persona non gratas are all coming out of their holes all of a sudden

Moin "please may I have a job at PCB please" :)

Lol have you forget that pak reached final of asia cup and world cup? They were loosing in group stages during sethi era lol. Also, did you forget that they won a tri series in nz. Pakistan's performance in LOI is very good. Removing ramiz will not improve our test performance as we are poor in that format at home anyways.

Every ex-cricketer trying to get some attention from the new PCB boss, they don't realize Sethi won't remain on the post for long , RR will come back after the general election and he should be.

How apt that he was Imran Khan's appointment then. The same thing happened to Imran at a political level.
