I can't imagine the ICC showing much interest?

I can't imagine the ICC showing much interest?

why not?, they have to be neutral, everytime the 2 teams have played each time- thrs been violence coming from one side.

They have to intervene. throwing chairs at people and some instances at thr head - has to be taken seriously

Totally agree cricket is a gentleman game.

This isn’t Millwall v Leeds united on a Saturday night outside stump cross pub.

Some of these hooligans need banning for life.

Hope ICC do something 🙏

ICC must intervene if one team's fans are taking their bitterness out on another team's fans. If Pakistani or Indian fans behaved like this in Australia, you can be sure very strict action would have been taken against them.

ICC will only react if Australia England or some other Sena Countries involved, why should they care? Its entertainment and business for them, small fines here and there but this
circuis of Afghan crowd gonna continue:root

I think PCB and more importantly Pakistani fans needs to step up here. Maybe invest in a 'Barmy army', 'Bharat army' type fan group for Pakistani cricket fans - maybe call it Shaheen force or something. Organized Pakistani fans could be a deterrent to any hooliganism

What's also relevant is if the local police took action.

If they didn't then these hooligans will behave like this again.

And good old ICC has organised a T20 World Cup warmup match between the 2 teams.

Apparently there has been some deportations back to Afghanistan but no confirmed reports of this

Thats good. Atleast afghans will take this warm up match seriously forcing us to take it serious.

This will only benefit pakistan as they will good match practise and an actual match environment for them.

Wonder if fans will be allowed to this or not

It's not a problem if it is policed properly and fans are warned beforehand that strict punishment will be meted out to political and racist activists.

Do you really believe that would stop them from this ridiculous behaviour.

Very emotional and if the lower income classes then they really don't understand the consequences of their actions.

More than 150 Afghans have been deported till date due to this incident :)

That is how the message will get through. If this happened at other venues, especially in England, you can bet these political terrorists would desist pretty damn quick. Of course, it depends on how much of a deterrent the police are willing to enforce. If there is no intent, then there is no point in holding such matches.

England is different. Riot police here are used to dealing with football hoolaganism and they will just treat this as another case of sporting hoolaganism

No one will get deported

Ramiz should also speak up what happened in Leicester after Ind-Pak game on 28th August. But like mainstream media in UK, no one seems to be interested.

As long as they are dealt with, and there is actually a punishment which serves as a deterrent, that is all that is required. We don't need deportations, we are England not UAE.

Lol they were Afghan fans but their passports turned out to be Pakistani. Irony of the situation
