I take back what I said about ashwin and Yasir. Yasir is absolutely pathetic and isn't worthy of even tying shoelaces of ashwin. I am just so disappointed in him as I had high hopes from him in this tour...

At current state of fitness and bowling, not sure against whose comparison Yadir is better; but at his peak, he was really difficult to handle on turning tracks, even some non turning ones as well.

When wrist spinners struggle - intelligent teams drop them, because a loose cannon leggi has no where to hide; finger spinners can dart around and protect himself from beating; PAK don’t think will drop Yasir though.

Ashwin is possibly GOAT India/Pak spinner in tests. Saqlain didn't play many tests so I think Ashwin edges him. He has surpassed kumble already.

Bedi/Prasanna haven't seen them.olay but surely Ashwin is better than them considering cricket has moved a long way from those times.

Jumbo is the 3rd highest wicket taker in the history of the game. Ashwin, as good as he is, still has a long way to go before he surpasses him.

Iftikhar Ahmed also deserves an honorable mention as he also made it to the 5th worst ever figure. Very disappointing that Paine didn't let Yasir shah reach his double century.

ashwin was essential to our win in adelaide. kept it tight, bowled a marathon spell for the pacers to be rotated.

In india's england tour, ashwin bowled as well as nathan lyon did in the recent ashes series.
Took 7 wickets in 2 tests in south africa,(although he did take tailender wickets)
Was one of the best bowlers in the single test he played in adelaide before injury.

Ashwin has significantly imrpoved his overseas performance, india should not drop ashwin for the NZ series.
Ashwin is probably the best spinner after lyon.

Yasir is a run machine, can't imagine how much his avg will . be . after a 4 test series in australia. was even thrashed in nz. infact, yasir was thrashed for 2 tests in uae last year against nz, before taking 8 odd wickets to even his avg.

yasir is no where near jadeja, forget ashwin. pak has much better spinners, like zafar gohar, mohammad asghr, even shadab khan would be a better choice
