Can't be bothered reading the thread, someone sum up Shoaib's performance. When I checked, he was getting destroyed in his new ball spell.

He's been a lot better in his second spell, bowling a lot of yorkers but hasnt been able to breach the defenses of Asad Shafiq.

His figures don't do justice to his bowling. Plum LBW denied, and his last over was deja vu 2002.

Shoaib Akhtar has continued his good performance demonstrating further his form and fitness.

Shahzaib Hasan got a couple of lives against him and Rameez.
Hit some good shots but the odd miscued one as well. Was a good contest.

Poor fielding cost 6 runs in the first two balls which gave Dolphins momentum

Fielding standard sucks. Good to see Akhtar coming off a full run.

Very straight bowling - Khurram has an ugly slog, spliced to mid wicket a long the ground.

I don't know how that was a LBW the ball hit the players upper arm - shoulder area not the legs.

Shoaib striving for pace but the body won't let it come out as quick as it used to. Still, pretty accurate in this over thus far.

^^ eehh.. who?

absolutly amazing yorkers by akhtar and the batsmen have done very well to keep them out

last ball in his 7th over was amazing...i dont know how the batsman dug out of that one! even shoaib had that look "ye isne kis tarha rok di"

Akhtar put everthing into the yorker but it was blocked just in time.

The guy who's batting along with Manzoor.

Oh right, I just tuned in now. Will see what he looks like in this innings. If nothing else, he's probably got an easier on the eye technique than Khurram but then Inzamam doing ballet would probably be more elegant.

:)) :)) :))

Good knock by Manzoor but an immature shot. Looked good against Akhtar for a few overs. Will probably start in the first test of the England tour?

Khurram Manzoor looked pretty dodgy against Immad throughout, another Pakistani with a left arm spin weakness. Monty recall on the cards methinks. :D

Immad's cricinfo profile says he was born in Swansea, interesting.

Faisal looks pumped up today, would be interesting to see how he goes against Akhtar as he always shits himself against pace.

Punjab needs a good spell from Akhtar if they want to win this Sindh seems solid in chasing down the target.

It's not Punjab, Shoaib is representing Islamabad so it's federal areas XI.

Akhtar should trouble Faisal but I guess he's being saved for the death now.

Shoaib still wicketless, Sindh should win this one unless he produces something magical in 2 overs, which is possible.

^^What do you think now...:P
Faithal gone going for an ugly hock, good catch by Umar Amin.

Rameez has a good shorter ball, its rushed a lot of them today.

Can Faisal's wicket be the turning point.

wow Akhatrs 4 overs after his initial burst have only gone for 9 runs :D

or am i not allowed to say that Paradox? :P

Umar Amin is not a bowler lol, he's not even really a part timer. Just being bowled for the sake of it.

really need to bring akhtar back for a burst as a last ditch effort other wise will be too late

IMO Asad Shafiq and Umar Amin should be included in the squad for the England tour. From what i have seen up until now they both seem to be head and shoulders above the rest of the domestic batsman.

Angles in and straightens, gets the edge but no slips.

Last chance through Shoaib or this match is done.

umm, did you mean Umar Amin? I dont think there is any doubt over Umar Akmal's selection.

SUPERB yorker and played with amazing ease in the end. :|

One more strike to open the game up.. will Shoaib go for the middle stump YORKER?

Shafiq gone :(

I really wanted him to take the Sindhi's home.

Not so sure about Asad Shafiq he has a solid technique but a low SR

AMAZINGLY quick yorker from Shoaib! That must have been 150+ as a guess, well played by Sarfraz. Dug out well.

SR doesn't matter in tests unless it's tim mcintoshesque SR :P

gap between runs needed and balls left narrowing. 34 from 38 now

hope federal area can win this as this is their last match and if they loose sindh and baluchistan will play the final

is sarfraz a crap batsmen or is it just my luck that every time i see him he is strugling? at domestic and international level

The former. :Sami

team meeting in the middle. decided to keep akhtar for later but akhtar doesnt look the happiest about it

Well a long discussion, looks like they want to save Shoaib for later..risky move.

That's a bad move imo, Shoaib looked to be in rhythm in that last over and he'd fancy his chances of knocking Sarfraz over.

Power Play taken shoaib out the attack the end is nai?

Shoaibs last 5 overs have gone for 11 runs and a wicket. bad move by Bazid

Stupid move akhter can go for runs or get you wicket. At his pace if they need 8 of the last they could make it from edges alone
