with Aamer in the bowling attack Rawalpindi could push over the Zebras
 
Cant wait to inshallah see the Rawalpindi Express rip through Abbottabad tommorow...Captaining Islamabad :p
 
Thick inside edge off a great yorker following the batsmen for four. Lucky for the batsmen
 
Have to say i like the quick straight forward format of this tournament. Unfortunately however does mean that i will and already have missed alot of games as im sure alot of others in the UK have
 
On a side not from this game, Hydrabad Hawks are out the competition after this mornings lost. The winner between the game of Karachi Dolphins & Lahore Eagels on friday night will go through to the Semi.

Inshallah it will be Karachi :afridi :Sami
 
In group B if Karachi loose this game..which is looking very likely at the moment as the Rams go at 10/over... then the Rawalpindi Rams :aamir VS :malik Sialkot Stallions will be a quater final match with the winners in the Semi.

In group A Quetta are out. If Lahore beat beat Pashawer tonight then the Lahore VS Multan game on thursday will be a quater final.

However if Pashawer win tonight then its open for Pashawer, Multan and Lahore. A Multan win over Lahore on Thursday will put Multan through. However if Lahore beat Multan and Peshawar go on to beat Quetta then Peshawar, Lahore and Multan will be on 4 point and will go down to NRR.

This is the most open group
 
Actually Group C is the most open, i stand corrected. Any of the 3 teams from Group C can still qualify.

So to sum up the group stage at the moment: :inzi

Group A:

On the other Hand if Karachin Win anyone can go through. They will finish on 2 points. If the Stallions beat the Rams then the Stallions will go through however if the Rams beat the Stallions then all 3 teams will be on 2 points and NRR comes into play

Group C:


Group C is very similar to to group B. You can replace Rawalpindi with Islamabad, Stallions with Faislabad and Karachi with Abbottabad.

Group D:


This group is more or less done. Hydrabad are out and the Karachi Dolphins VS Lahore Eagles game is a quater final.

In the semi it will be:

Winner of A VS Winner of C
Winner of B VS Winner of D

Im hoping/thinking it will be:

Multan (cant think of any big name :(:p) VS :akhtar Islamabad
Sialkot :malik VS :afridi Karachin Dolphins (massive game)

Pretty catchy title, I think - especially applicable if it comes off bowlers like Sami. :)

Rawalpindi should win this one, their bowling attack looks superb and they have plenty of runs to work with.
 
any live stream today? The one from yesterday is showing the hockey world cup game between Pakistan and Spain. Pak up 1-0 with 2 minutes left in the first half.

Stick with that as there is an innings break so they changed the stream,they'll be back for the second innings just stay with that
 
Expensive opening over fro Aamer but he must be rusty having missed the past month or so.
 
Aamer coming off a slightly shorter run than normal?

One ball came back in but, again, he bowled well short with the new ball.

One was a good shot to a rank short ball.. the other 4 was an extremely lucky uppish sort of shot that could easily have gone to hand.
 
Interesting that Aamer and Rameez are opening - the same 2 who opened for Pak U19 a few years ago, and Umar Amin played in that team also. Now the Rams also have Azam and Raza in the team, very young side.
 
Excellent length from Aamer in this over, pitching it up and getting a bit of movement, not coming closer to the stumps btw.

By the way, Pakistan back up on Spain after a Sohail Abbas Penalty Corner strike. 2-1 with 2 minutes left!
 
Hammad's new action is nice, I like the way he's a bowl it full, hit the stumps bowler also. Might go for a few, but if the batsman misses he gives himself a chance to hit, if only others would use this method. :gul
