I am sure there are more examples and players to quote from. Very common to see our apparent so called best bowlers i.e. Shaheen, Rauf, Shadab to completely collapse under pressure when they encounter a batsman on song. Our bowlers have very poor defensive skills where they don't know how to go on the defensive and how to bowl defensively to their field when the batsmen are on a roll where just blindly bowling striving for wickets and attacking is just not going to work because the batsman is in such good form and the wicket is flat, the boundaries are small.

I have seen Dhoni with his captaincy and the Indian bowlers pull off remarkable wins with superb disciplined defensive bowling in the final overs many times and they have experience of having to apply these tactics numerous times during the IPL when games go down to the final ball, final over.

Limited overs bowling is now slowly becoming a specialized subject.

We have skillful bowlers, especially pacers however if they don't bowl to their strengths then that has more to do with management and coaching. For example Ihsanullah should be bowling shorter lengths as with his pace and bounce he will always trouble even set batters. He hasn't mastered the yorker yet and when he goes for it, ends up bowling a full toss. Rauf on the other hand should be going fuller as his speedy yorkers are much better than his bouncers.

Dhoni, the master tactician, has been around for a while whereas in Pakistan we are constantly changing our coaches and management. When a player is getting too much advice it's easy to get confused. Plus we don't have any legend bowlers in the lineup that can lead and pass on experience. Our bowlers are basically learning on the go and trying to execute plans which new management sets.

You need a big pair to step up to big players

You all mocked Amir’s claim when he said he doesn’t look at the name when bowling to a batsman, even if it’s Babar Azam

When you have bowlers who are willing to kneel down to Kohli, you are going NOWHERE
