Hey guys,
I need help removing stickers from the splice area. I know to start horizontallt but should i only use sand paper before applying my new sticker? Please respond asap as I have a match tomorrow. Thank you

There are no cricket shops in my area or for at least 500 miles haha. I live in the states

Hey dude do you still need any help?
Qasim bhai,
I decided not to mess with the stickers after careful consideration. I dont want to risk it on a new bat. Its not worth it. I did however remove my gm stickers on my old icon 404 bat. I used a flat thin metal spatula with a very fine amount of glue remover and sand paper. It was rather fun to remove the stickers. After sanding and oiling my bat it looks like it came straight from the factory haha without any stickers of course

Cool! glad it worked out, i did the same with my CA, didn't like the stickers plus waaaay to many gazes at the bat which was very annoying. I also used a little bit of sugar soap (a TOCUH) removed all the grease and glue and i sanded it down. Looks much better and reduced some weight! Sorry yaar i didn't see this message earlier.

No problem yaar. I might still take your advice and at least take off the CA on the back of mine. I have the 5000 in the res and orange stickers. Its just too much going on. I will use your method to take off the back stickers at the bottom. Thanks bro

No problem, remember use your finger to get the initial lift from the sticker, then a chisel knife to remove the sticker.

The sugar soap

Leave to dry

Sand down and a put a bit of linseed oil! Leave to dry, make an inspect on the bat more sand more oil etc. Take 20 min labour and a day of waiting but its worth it.

Looks good as new, even better IMO!

I decided to go ahead and try to remove my stickers with everything but the sugar soap. So far so good. Ran out of sand paper though. I was too excited to wait
