According to a news source, late Monday night, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted a raid on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) office, seizing records and detaining several officials involved in the ticket sales for the New Zealand-Pakistan T20 series.
Serious allegations have surfaced regarding the sale and purchase of tickets for the series. A female PCB official in charge of ticketing was interrogated at the FIA offices. Additionally, other long-serving PCB officials are under scrutiny for potential involvement in ticketing irregularities and other fraudulent activities, according to an insider.
Following numerous complaints, the Interior Ministry has initiated an investigation into these allegations. The informant revealed that the PCB's administration might undergo significant changes depending on the findings of this inquiry. It was also noted that the initial notice was issued last week, which preceded the raid.
