Still don't understand as to why none of these players are bothering to isolate. I mean wouldn't you go straight home?
It's been a free-for-all, with no control at all from PCB and very little care from the players. So many training in groups.
LOL.
Ban?
This man should be arrested for public endangerment.
Yep.
And he recklessly endangered the safety of his own family and other Pakistanis by breaching quarantine after a Positive Test to try to change the result.
What a pathetic, reckless, selfish, ignorant little man.
I dont think he breached quarantine. Chugtai Lab sends their officials to do tests at home

As the saying goes, test, test, test again, and keep testing until you are found to be negative![]()
Hafeez aims to captain Pakistan in the 2023 world cup. This Corona will not stop hafeez. He will somehow convince Misbah to let him in the squad
it was expected tbh I mean PCB is bad no doubt but this bad nah
and I think M hafeez got his testing from kiryana store type laboratory too
few bucks may have worked their magic
He had his own test at Chughtai Labs. The PCB had requested Shaukat Khanum to do the players tests.
Man, Hafeez really wants to play for Pakistan.
you are doubting on hafeez intentions which is not good, there are many other way to earn money, he should have pulled himself out and played CPL,Tour allowance and match fee collectively make sum of around 20,30 lakh but in CPL the lowest price he will be sold is 80lakh. but he opted for national duties instead of "25 din mai paisey dabal"
Hafeez isn't an elite player now, never was to be precise. Its very difficult for him to get a CPL, BPL, BBL, T20 blast contract at this stage of his career. The only tournament that will have him are the Canada T20, T10s and the PSL(solely based on his nationality).
What's left, to somehow clings on the national team of Pakistan!!
So it’s not the first time he’s broken the rules according to CEO, where’s the disciplinary action then.. will this send the right message to other players as it looks like Hafeez is getting away with it all because he’s a ‘senior’ player let me guess ?Abdullah719 MenInG The Viper U$ofA MenInG Junaids @Maamon Saj Junaids Raza Thunderbolt14 Bhaag Viru Bhaag KingKohli robelinda (sorry if i not mentioned you)
Since we have talked much about hafeez test, PCB take on hafeez private test and what wasim khan think so i didn't felt to create a separate thread for this one...
So here is Wasim khan latest view on hafeez:
‘He created a problem for us’: PCB CEO on
Mohammad Hafeez getting private Covid-19 test
In a recent interaction, Pakistan Cricket Board CEO
Wasim Khan spoke on the situation and said that
Hafeez should have consulted with the board before
getting a private test.
Mohammad Hafeez has found himself in troubled
waters once again with the Pakistan Cricket Board
after the veteran allrounder decided to get a private
test for Covid-19. Hafeez was among the 10 Pakistan
cricketers who were tested positive for coronavirus
as per a release by PCB on Tuesday. But the right-
hander took to Twitter on Wednesday to reveal
that he does not have coronavirus as per a personal
test which he has taken.
In a recent interaction, Pakistan Cricket Board CEO
Wasim Khan spoke on the situation and said that
Hafeez should have consulted with the board before
getting tested on his own. Khan added that it is not
the first time Hafeez has flouted PCB rules in the
media.
“I spoke to Hafeez today and I made it clear to him
our disappointment at the way he had handled this
entire affair. As an individual, he has a right to take
a private test but he should have spoken to us first
because he created a problem for us. This is not the
first time that Hafeez has breached our rules in the
media,” PCB CEO said on Cricket Baaz Youtube
Channel.
“He doesn’t have a central contract but once he was
selected for the Pakistan team he has to abide by
the rules and regulations for all players especially
pertaining to the use of social media. We are still
looking at the matter because it has caused us a lot
of problems,” he further added.
So it’s not the first time he’s broken the rules according to CEO, where’s the disciplinary action then.. will this send the right message to other players as it looks like Hafeez is getting away with it all because he’s a ‘senior’ player let me guess ?
The question is why even select him, he’s not even a has-been , he’s a never-has-been who is approaching 40 and adds no value to the team whatsoever for the England tour other then maybe being able to help Misbah solve some crossword puzzles possibly.
I can remember a time when yoh wanted the tour off because they were at risk, the reality is that they are not at risk at all. These guys are not risk, they need to make sure they don't mix with their families.Forget about Hafeez!
The test returns 30% False Negative tests on people who actually have the virus.
So it’s important that the 19 players who tested negative are retested before they stop distancing, as the chances of one player returning two False Negatives are 3/10 x 3/10 = 9%.
But if a single negative test lets you into the bubble, there is a high risk of infection.
Don’t just retest the positives! Retest the negatives even more urgently!
If he fails the next PCB test I'm sure he'll be keen to have another test organised by himself, and if he passes that it will be 2-2.
Is it a best of 5?
Wasim Khan should impose huge sanctions on Hafeez if he tests positive again - he should have been in quarantine, but instead he undermined the PCB by taking another test. Not the brightest move from somebody who is labelled the 'professor'.

Positive, negative and now positive again, the mystery surrounding Mohammad Hafeez’s Covid-19 test results seems to continue as Pakistan Cricket Board is mulling disciplinary action against the player for not following quarantine protocol.
Hafeez had tested positive for COVID-19 when the board conducted the first round of tests of all the 29 England bound players along 12 support staff due to board the UK-bound flight on Sunday. Hafeez’s result came positive along with nine other players and an official.
But the very next day the former Pakistani captain posted a tweet with a report from a private medical facility where the result showed that he has tested negative.
The board, clearly upset with Hafeez’s refusal to go into quarantine gave him a rap on the knuckles.
According to a source in the board, the Shaukat Khanum Memorial hospital, which tested the players and officials did a retest of the earlier sample they had taken from Hafeez and it again came positive for Covid-19.
“This is a very intriguing situation for the board. It will be interesting to see what is the result of the second test taken today of the 10 players, who tested positive in the first test earlier this week will come,” the source said.
The board has said it will announce results of all tests on Saturday.
The source said that if Hafeez again tests positive on Saturday he is likely to face disciplinary action from the board as instead of going into isolation after the first test result, he preferred to do get a second test done.
A source close to Hafeez defended his action, insisting that the player was “very disturbed” after his first test came positive and he was obviously concerned for his immediate family.
“That is why he took a second test privately as a precautionary measure he had no intention to embarrass the authorities,” the source said.
If the second tests of the players who earlier tested positive again comes positive they will miss the flight to England and will be replaced by reserves and will have to undergo a quarantine process.

It’s a penalty shootout, will keep going till PCB gets negative and Hafeez gets positive![]()
If he's wandering around town looking to get retested after testing positive, should he not be getting arrested for potentially being a superspreader?!
i don't think he has done something which he deserves to be arrested.

There’s also a $13,345 fine for breaching quarantine in my home state.i don't think he has done something which he deserves to be arrested.
Here in Australia a man was jailed for over 6 months for breaching Coronavirus quarantine.

How is it guys, hafeez didn't breached quarintine rules proved. Pcb was wrong. I think PCB should seek forgiveness from hafeez and those who tested negative in 2nd turn today publicly.
