I dont think a ban has actually been confirmed by any reputable source.

I would demand an apology from them for their anti Pakistan statements before allowing them entry. Do you think any foreign player making anti India statements would be accepted by the IPL?

If this is true ( again I have my doubts) it makes a mockery of Pakistan's don't politicise cricket stance that we claim to have held over the years.

How can we with a straight face say it's discrimination that our players are not being selected in Indian leagues.

Blanket ban is not the answer. Rather, playing together can defuse any tensions.

It turns out there was no ban on Afghan players in PSL. It was just media speculation during the recent Pakistan-Afghanistan conflict.

What's interesting though is how Indians have an issue hosting Bangladeshi cricketers in IPL due to Hindu mistreatment in Bangladesh - yet Afghan cricketers will receive red carpet despite a literal Hindu genocide in Afghanistan.

But apparently only Pakistanis are guilty of selective tear shedding.

Yeah.. they were reports but there was a strong reaction to that and seeing afghan players' behaviour, I would have wanted that it would stay like that.
