This is the 15th visit of PM Modi to the Gulf & 3rd visit to Saudi Arabia since 2014.

India and Saudi Arabia are expected to further strengthen their multifaceted partnership during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to the Kingdom.

The April 22-23 visit at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman will be PM Modi's third to the Kingdom after his previous visits in 2016 and 2019. It follows the State Visit of Prince Mohammed bin Salman to New Delhi in September 2023 to attend the G20 Summit and co-chair the first meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council.

Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) is fast emerging as a statesman-leader with a visionary approach. MBS’s intent to balance his nation’s relations with Israel and Iran reflects pragmatic and far-sighted statesmanship that offers hope for a more stable Middle East .

Mohammad Bin Salman is the most important person for the current Islamic world imo. Prince has realised that reciting the Quran and playing 5 times a day won't progress his nation while rest of the world moves forward at a rapid pace, leaving his country behind...

MBS is doing his best to progress Saudi towards a better future, keeping his country away for Islamic fundamentalism and backward thinking that has ruined the muslim community...

Hopefully MBS is successful and other muslim countries will follow suit, he has also been a huge supporter of India and PM Modi.....

India and Saudi Arabia have a deep, multi-faceted relationship that covers trade, energy, defense, investment, and strong people-to-people ties, with both countries describing each other as trusted friends and strategic allies.

Their partnership has grown rapidly in recent years through regular high-level visits, a Strategic Partnership Council, and cooperation in sectors like technology, agriculture, and security, while the large Indian community in Saudi Arabia acts as a vibrant bridge between the two nations

You can like him or hate him but one cannot doubt his diplomatic acumen. He really knows how to deal with all countries diplomatically.

This is an important quality. You do not want to engage with perceived enemies until you are in a position to repel them. Nations like Libya and Iraq were too easily manoeuvred into wars they were in no position to fight successfully.
