This is the 15th visit of PM Modi to the Gulf & 3rd visit to Saudi Arabia since 2014.

India and Saudi Arabia are expected to further strengthen their multifaceted partnership during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to the Kingdom.

The April 22-23 visit at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman will be PM Modi's third to the Kingdom after his previous visits in 2016 and 2019. It follows the State Visit of Prince Mohammed bin Salman to New Delhi in September 2023 to attend the G20 Summit and co-chair the first meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council.

Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) is fast emerging as a statesman-leader with a visionary approach. MBS’s intent to balance his nation’s relations with Israel and Iran reflects pragmatic and far-sighted statesmanship that offers hope for a more stable Middle East .

Mohammad Bin Salman is the most important person for the current Islamic world imo. Prince has realised that reciting the Quran and playing 5 times a day won't progress his nation while rest of the world moves forward at a rapid pace, leaving his country behind...

MBS is doing his best to progress Saudi towards a better future, keeping his country away for Islamic fundamentalism and backward thinking that has ruined the muslim community...

Hopefully MBS is successful and other muslim countries will follow suit, he has also been a huge supporter of India and PM Modi.....

India and Saudi Arabia have a deep, multi-faceted relationship that covers trade, energy, defense, investment, and strong people-to-people ties, with both countries describing each other as trusted friends and strategic allies.

Their partnership has grown rapidly in recent years through regular high-level visits, a Strategic Partnership Council, and cooperation in sectors like technology, agriculture, and security, while the large Indian community in Saudi Arabia acts as a vibrant bridge between the two nations

You can like him or hate him but one cannot doubt his diplomatic acumen. He really knows how to deal with all countries diplomatically.

This is an important quality. You do not want to engage with perceived enemies until you are in a position to repel them. Nations like Libya and Iraq were too easily manoeuvred into wars they were in no position to fight successfully.

Saudi Arabia and UAE set to import electricity from India

The 1,700 km subsea cable to Saudi Arabia will cost $5.5bln, whereas the 1,400 km cable to the UAE will cost $5.1 bn

This is good.signs of a developed country with nuclear projects in every non sesmic state and no more coal projects post 2035.Decreasing the duration to built is reduced to 8 from 13 years.I hope green card activists don't get involved.

On one hand, sanghis attack Islam and insult Muslims.

On the other hand, they post about deal with Saudi Arabia.
These sanghis seem to have serious identity crisis. They are comical, hypocritical, and confused. :inti

Hopefully we will have some temples across Saudi soon so Hindus can stay connected with religion.

Been to temples in UAE, Oman and it was a surreal experience.

They have a similar confused relationship with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan govt. Very difficult to work out if they have any principles, or what they are based on other than hatred and greed.

This is what BJP has been all about since 2014.

Astaghfirullah. May Allah keep the jazeera free from shirk and as a sanctuary for His worship alone as it was always meant to be. Ameen.

Even though there is a prophecy that the Arabs may return to shirk once again and that will signal the Day of Judgement approaching. Sadly eventually it will be a sign.

The Hour shall not be established until tribes of my Ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols. And indeed there shall be thirty imposters in my Ummah, each of them claiming that he is a Prophet. And I am the last of the Prophets, there is no Prophet after me” Tirmidhi

Another prophecy of bedouins competing in creating tall buildings has already come true.

Is that not a wrong context to put on that prophecy? Temples built for private worship are already in place in some Muslim countries like Malaysia. Pakistan as well I think.

That prophecy is referred to especially for Jazeera tul Arabia which Saudi Arabia is a part of and was brought up by many sheikhs as, even though it’s a very small minority, some people in Saudi Arabia have begun to once again entertain the idea of Laat and Uzza.

Also, Prophet Muhammad PBUH and after him the sahaba and early scholars considered the entire gulf of Arabia as a sanctuary cleansed of shirk including Mecca and Medina. Some people think it was only limited to Mecca and Medina but this isn’t true.

So temples being built anywhere in the gulf is definitely a concern.

Allah knows best

Building temples in Saudi arabia is bad. But claiming ayodhya mandir as mosque is good.

Such double standards
