What's new

Run rate since the new ball was taken...

I know this is a sarcastic thread but...

The pitch does have uneven bounce and some some deliveries aren't coming onto the bat. Saying that I think they could be a little more innovative and take the bowler on.

I thought yesterday they wasted around 40-50 runs not scoring. That could be vital at the end the series, let alone the current match.

They've only started picking up the RR after lunch.

It's almost like wearing the bowlers down on a difficult pitch and then cashing in when they are tired is an effective strategy??!?!!!?

It's effective when you've lost early wickets too. In this case it was unnecessary to block, pad-up, and leave hit-able deliveries.

It's fine if you win, but the pitchforks and wrist-slitting threads start when you don't.

It's because Shehzad was playing to cement his place in the ODI side as a 'solid opener'. Ha! On the other hand, Azhar Ali has always been slow so no surprise there.

Also I doubt 40-50 runs will make a huge difference. We'll win regardless.

Windies 8/1 after two overs.

They're scoring at 4 RPO, Pakistan should be worried. :mv

Beautiful thread.

:salute

Pakistan well on their way to winning this test.
