Have you guys heard about this guy? Was going through some of his videos, and his points have some sort of substance. His topics usually revolve around time portals, dimensions, history, future and time travel with clues from holy scriptures.

I am not sold on all of what he says but I do think what he says carries some weight and the first time I have seen it through that lens.

He's talked about Book of Enoch, Sumerian Tablets, Torah, Bible and a lot of emphasis on Quran and Ahadith.

Would like to hear your opinions!

Just remember, Earth is a tiny planet. There’s celestial bodies hundreds, thousands and probably millions, billions etc times it. Same with dimensions.

It already says in the Quran that the universe is expanding, science only came to this conclusion 1400 years later.

No limit to what Allah SWT can design and create.

I find a lot of Imran Hosein's claims weird and he talks like he's always correct.

This guy doesn't claim what he's hypothesizing to be absolutely correct and is asking for the Muslim scientist to investigate and study it.

One thing regarding Dajjal and his apparent powers on time dilation and time travel was that Tamim ad Dari met him 1400 years ago and he knew about the events of the future.

Yes there's also this hypothesis of presence of portals in Jerusalem. Like Prophet SAW first went to Masjid al Aqsa from where he ascended. And Jerusalem is also the place that is extremely scientifically advanced right now and zionists' favorite place where they are expecting for their messiah to return to.

I find this mullah term very offensive. Ignorant religious preaching is another thing but this term is very condescending. Would you use some slurs for priests, rabbis or pandits etc too?

Should’ve added: Mahd refers to the earth being spread out as a place to rest (same word is used to describe the cradle of Isa (Jesus) in the Quran)

In Surah An Naziat Ayat 30, it’s a different word used for what comes out as “spread” in English. Which comes from the word Deha, referring to an egg like shape. But the verb form used here refers to setting out something resembling a shape close to a sphere.

Yes agreed. Quran is not a textbook for science. And there's a lot of supernatural stuff without scientific explanations. And religion is based on faith.

Broke it down for you 2 different ways already man.

The first mention in my post, the reference of Earth being laid out is in reference to it being an abode for mankind, not its shape. That’s what the source you linked was trying to say with regards to it being like a carpet beneath our feet. Not a literal flat carpet, but a place to rest. Because the same word is used to refer to the cradle of Prophet Isa / Jesus (AS) I.e a place to rest in another Surah.

Also, interesting you mention the wrapping, because that’s exactly the term that is mentioned in Surah Az Zumar Ayat 5, where the word “Quwara” means to wrap or coil around. You said it yourself, if it’s spherical you wrap around it, that’s what Allah is saying with reference to the changing of day unto the night and the night unto the day in this world. Like wrapping a turban with cloth- you would use the same verb in Arabic for this too. Not possible if the turban is flat.

Agreed, that’s a good nuance to make. However, it does carry numerical, scientific, historical, literary and only Allah knows how many more miracles within it. But yes, it’s purpose first and foremost is to guide mankind.

Continuous expansion is embedded in the choice of word. Moosioon which is Ism Fail signifies permanence as opposed to the verb form wasana/Ausaa which would have meant one/few times. The ayat says we made (banaina -> verb) the sky and we are continuously expanding (mossiun -> Ism fail). And we spread (madadna -> verb) the earth.
Just like Sadiq (Ism Fail) means always truthful while sadaqa (verb) means someone told the truth once/few times.
