22 in 25 wins is highly impressive even if it has involved a lot of minnow-bashing, but the major reason why his W/L ratio is excellent is because he has had the fortune of not playing India.

Anyway, there is no point in having different captains for ODIs and T20Is. These two squads should be almost identical - if most of your ODI players are not good enough to play T20Is, you are inevitably going to struggle in ODIs in this era. Hence, it makes no sense to have two captains for these two formats. Differentiating between Test captaincy and ODI/T20I captaincy makes much more sense.

He should stay T20 captain with the ODI and Test captaincy given to Babar.

Interesting stat however when it comes to T20s people only care about it when the World T20 is on or if it's domestic T20s such as BBL, PSL, IPL etc. If he wins (or comes close to winning) the WT20 that then you can say he's a great T20 captain for Pakistan. Normally in bilaterals, you play T20s against any nation and it can often be a one off game unless a WT20 is coming up.

Hearing Imran Khan is not happy with the attitude of the current team and the non-confident style of cricket being played. Sarfraz days are numbered and Imran will be advising the board on his pick for captain, if this is true we will be seeing Shadab as the next captain most likely.

Pakistan has become very consistent in the T20 format under Sarfaraz. This is the format he does excel in terms of captaincy.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the captain. When he is given players like Malik and Imam..... there is nothing anybody can do.

Has your brain realized that Sarfraz is not a good player? Rizwan or another keeper batsmen can easily outperform him with the bat and gloves. He's a mediocre tactician as well. Overall, he just doesn't make the team on merit. Plus he's getting old anyways.

Get a captain who is smarter and combined with getting rid of the oldies + Inzi, will be the recipe for success.

In cricket, statistics is sometimes irrelevant. Present form is the only thing that counts.

What about his own individual performances?

Babar, Fakhar, Shadab, Imad, Hsasan all were performing consistently in this format and they were the reason behind our success. Sarfraz is just getting free credit for doing nothing.

We have lost games recently due to the poor form of these individuals. Sarfarz Rellu katta has contributed nothing. He is a big liability and should be booted out.

W63L35, so Sarfraz bhai is your new hero after Afridi? :)

Excellent record! Sarfraz should definitely be captain in T20s at least till 2020 T20 WC

Great Stats. But captaincy don't necessarily win matches for you, but good performances do. If he isn't performing, he is always dispensable.

what is the definition of "not performing"?

He doesn't make team on merit.Nobody cares about these meaningless stats. He should be kicked out as soon as possible

How many MOMs does he have in T20 wins? Average? Strike rate?

That’s non-performance as a batsman. World has moved on from specialist captains. If he can’t make this team as a batsman, he shouldn’t be in it.

Should we compare him to his contemporaries?

Bairstow? Butler? Mushfiq, Dhoni, De Kock?

Your statistical analyses have always been interesting but here it seems your support for Sarf is at the expense of what’s good for Pak cricket.
