Number one ranked T20 team overcoming yet another major obstacle. The level of opposition that we have faced in this format over the last two years is remarkable.

Our golden run in T20 from 2016 onwards will go down in history.

England away
NZ away
WI away....

Bashing mode is on...

Shadab is very good in LOIs ... just needs more seasoning in FC to become a complete bowler

Round of applause for Sarf's captaincy and his bowling changes after Scots shot away in the powerplay. Other captains like Misbah and Azhar would be aiming for respectable defeat and practicing their speeches for match presentation.

Nawaz nickname is Najay.... we had a friend named Nawaz and we also used to call him Najay... funny that Nawaz has the same nick

3rd wicket goes down as the Scottish captain departs. Pakistan in the driving seat now

What a catch....

Najay haters running for cover :sarf2

Love how Pakistan can choke the opposition in the middle overs with their spin options + Hasan Ali (more so in ODI's though).

We need to bowl some more wides so that the umpire can get some much needed exercise.

Hussain not having the best of matches... jet lag perhaps?

Not a fan of Nawaz opening the ball but he did well today. Only 22 runs allowed and got a wicket.

It was a one-off. England didn't have Stokes and Buttler, and Root was run out. England would beat them 9/10 times.

It seems you have excuses for every team that is not Pakistan. Everything you say is part of the narrative you have tried to build and terribly failed. Stop digging yourself a bigger hole day by day and accept that you are wrong.

Hasan Ali's purple patch is over. He is still quality, but it was unrealistic to expect him to maintain his 2017 level.

Don't see what your point is. Before the NZ series, I told everyone that a reality check was on the cards. It is on the cards again, but you are free to believe what you want.

It was given, they won't be able to pick his googlies. Even though other teams may, as he bowls them too often

Didn't look out to me but don't think they're used to playing spin bowling of this high quality. Shadab is a special talent. Part of the learning process for Scotland and hopefully we can come back stronger.

The way CT 17 went for Hasan, it is unreal to expect such performances from any one in the world on consistent basis. He has the ability to be under 25 avg bowler in ODIs by the end of his career and if he achieves that, he would be a star to look for in the next decade.

Injuries and being out of form are all part and parcel of cricket however, the ones who are the most consistent for decade become legends, recent example is of Steyn in tests.

Do you have any other example?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

So let's hand it to Mamoon. He is correct. Pakistan lost some matches, after winning some.

And let's not forget his other gems:

Yasir Shah is a mediocre bowler...

Abbas is not the kind of bowler to run through a side...

Pakistan unlucky not to have a World T20 in 2018. Don't see any team beating us in this form.

The difference in class between Rashid/Ali and Nawaz/Shadab is staggering

Even Pakistan's reserve spinners like Nawaz, Gohar, Raza Hasan and Asghar would be first choice for England's team in all formats. England really are struggling for quality spinners as are Australia beyond Nathan Lyon.

Someone like Rumman Raees would be England’s strike bowler.

Yep. Rashid and Ali are particularly rubbish spinners. England have been very patient with both, but they have disappointed. Nawaz is not some world beater too, but the difference in class is just too much ignore.

Sarfraz should bowl both Talat and Asif in this game. Heard Asif is also a handy medium pacer.

Scotland like England and Ireland just don't get to play quality spin in the local leagues.

Conditions are dominated by traditional line and length seamers hence why it's so difficult for these batsmen to step up and face international spinners.

Kohli alone would beat this team 4 out of 5 times. It is a shame that there is no WT20 any time soon. Our fans need a massive reality check. This T20 team is incredibly overrated - the bowling is decent, but the batting is nowhere near befitting of a number one ranked team.

In t20 spinners rule. 9 out of top 10 t20 rank bowlers are spinners. Our batting is good enough to score 180+ runs consistently against all attacks. Bowling good enough to defend it. Team good enough to win tournaments.

Shehzad, Babar, Sarfraz and Malik cannot take the team past 180 against quality sides unless Fakhar fires, who is a lottery. The likes of Asif are very unproven as well. I don't see them pushing above 160 against India, South Africa, Australia and England regularly, and that total is not enough to defend on most occasions.

It is a better team than the ones we have had in the last 3-4 years, but I don't think it is the best team in the world. I would be very surprised if they win a WT20.

20 20 is not right parameter to judge a team. Its very unpredictable format. I think Pakistan need to perform better in OD to show they are improving.

If there were to be a T20 WC in 2018, it would have been awarded to Ind for Kohli because a troll believes so.

We could have gotten 230+ consider we only lost 3 or 4 wickets and we can bat till 11.
