I never pointed him out when the team lost. Your team is doing bad is because the openers are not firing, middle order has been slow, and bowlers are not showing enough venoms. He is not a tactically gifted captain. He does his minimum bowling change, fielding change, just like any other captain would. He ain't no Dhoni or Imran Khan. One can win you games with his tactics, other could with the way he motivated players. Safraz has neither of those quality.

Yah, I find his constant yapping behind the stumps to be the most annoying thing possible...i mean i cant imagine being a bowler and being told what to do after every single delivery.

His ''street smarts'' are not good enough anymore..its as simple as that..Bangla shouldve been bundled out for 150 today...Edges flying right left and centre and no slips..playing Usman ahead of Junaid all tournament, playing a specialist batsman at number 7, the list goes on and on and on.

In the presentation ceremony Sarfi admits that he had a poor run with the bat. points out opportunities missed by Nawaz and Shadab. This guy plays for pakistan to win. It 'll be a mistake to remove him from captaincy.

Two years ago Sarfraz Ahmed was arguably ahead of BJ Watling as the world’s best wicketkeeper batsman.

Steve Rixon had massively improved his keeping and he was a gutsy Number 7 batsman.

Two years on he has been destroyed by the pressures of captaincy. His keeping is okay, but his batting has fallen apart.

His batting technique has become a cartoon caricature of its former self. He is crouching too low to be able to evade the short ball and he fences or flashes at every ball outside off-stump.

It’s obvious that he is in no shape to play Tests in South Africa and that if he survives more than a few balls he risks serious injury against the ball rising sharply from a good length.

Clearly Mohammad Rizwan could do a far better job, but Sarfraz is no coward and wants to lead from the front.

But Sarfraz’s stubbornness not only damages the team’s batting, it puts himself at significant risk of serious injury.

So do Mickey Arthur and Inzamam-ul-Haq have a Duty of Care to drop a brave skipper who has not just become a liability, but a serious injury waiting to happen?

Every technique has its downsides and Sarfraz's was worked out. He is not comfortable against even spin now.
