Making a massive revelation about Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, former cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz has disclosed that he has seen Khan consume drugs. Detailing on his experience, Nawaz has accounted that he has seen Imran Khan consuming drugs including cannabis and cocaine on several occasions. Nawaz has been in close quarters with Imran Khan as the duo used to spearhead Pakistan's pace department during the 1970s and early 80s.

In a video that has come to light, Sarfraz Nawaz while speaking to an interviewer, reveals that Imran Khan would often consume cannabis at his residence. Nawaz also asserted that Khan would not be able to deny the claims in front of him and that he is not the lone witness to the Pakistan PM's drug consumption.

Highlighting a specific incident, Nawaz stated that during a match between England and Pakistan in 1987, when Imran Khan did not perform well, he had come to Nawaz's residence at Islamabad. At his residence, the then Pakistan all-rounder has consumed charas after a meal and added that former players Mohsin Khan, Abdul Qadir and Salim Malik were also present at that time.

'He also snorts something'

"He (Imran Khan) has been consuming cannabis, he used to do it in London and even at my home. In 1987, when Pakistan faced England in a cricket match and he did not bowl well, he had come to my house and said along with Mohsin Khan, Abdul Qadir, Salim Malik in Islamabad for a meal and also consumed charas. He also snorts something and consumes cocaine as well. In London, he would roll something and snort it," said Nawaz in the video.

"Bring him in front of me and let's see if he denies it. I am not the lone eyewitness, there are many in London," he added.

Widely credit for being the first one to reverse swing the ball, Sarfraz Nawaz has represented Pakistan at the highest level. Between 1969 and 1984, Nawaz has played 55 Tests and 45 ODIs in which he has bagged 177 wickets. He announced his retirement in 1985 and went on to become a parliamentarian.

Imran Khan and Sarfraz Nawaz led Pakistan's pace attack for several years before the latter hung up his boots. It is also believed that Nawaz had taught Khan - who was an all-rounder - the art of reverse swing. During his stint as a Pakistan cricketer, Khan claimed 362 Test wickets and 3,807 runs in the longest format of the game. He is also Pakistan's first and only captain to win the Cricket World Cup, which he won in 1992.

So? That was in the past, people do all kinds of things when they're young and also that would really resonate with Millennial and Gen Z kids as recreational drug use isn't stigmatized in this generation.

Lol so what? Everyone was a bad boy in their youth, but when it comes to post cricketing achievements and services to the public, IK stands head and shoulders over this senile conspiracy theorist

Haha, who cares? Though I get that Pakistan being a conservative society will likely not be indifferent to this, but many will talk about how he's a changed man.

As long as IK didn’t loot tax payers money, he can have an LGBT type relationship with Sarfaraz, and I don’t care.

Let's assume the accusations are true. How the hell does it matter to anyone?

Reeks of desperation.

I have no problem with Imran being a known womanizer fulfilling his rather awkward fantasies behind closed doors but doing extreme drugs is what i am against as someone who is pro-life. I highly condemn this

Because it's not good for the image of the company, therefore we will now invest in smaller / more technically sound individuals who deserved chances much earlier.

Precisely why he had fans in every country. Superstar with dashing looks and partying with UK elite. He lived THE life.

I’m sure he did.

Many, many people have.

It’s not important.

Substance abuse is why Dadda Tyagi was born Adda Tyagi.

Sarfraz was a good bowler in his day, just a shame he has turned out to be a low class individual. Must be a journalists dream since just about everything is for sale.

What's the big deal? Many of us have done drugs in our youth. It didn't stop us from growing into mature, intelligent people.

As long as IK isn't doing drugs as PM, all should be well.

Didn’t Reham Khan accuse him of the same?

Her credibility is beyond pathetic

She called Wasim Akram a ch*ck and described how he invited black guys (she was in uk at the time and wasim sure as hell didn't go around telling people about his personal life)

and there are multiple "claims" in her book that are just stupid

Not saying Ik isn't doing coke right know cause I am not there but from her previous claims we can see that she's probably lying

She is a lying fraud

Look, IK is PM, former sportsman - anyone who played with him is a gateway to his insight and fuel for his haters.

Lol Sarfaraz himself did it as well then. So what is he trying to say, it was halal for him to do it but haram for IK?

When you grow up you find out a lot more people use cocaine recreationally than you realized. And a lot of people use cocaine to function. If IK was still using cocaine I would be concerned. If he did in his 20s/30s then it is what it is.

If any of those two are still doing it, would bet my life it's Sarfraz. Charas must be nailed on.

Using Cocaine is never good but you can't go back and change the past, if that is what happened. It would be surprised that its true especially when you consider that IK never drank Alcohol. If he was taking any drugs today( which i don't believe he is )he should be locked up.

This is not new, Sarfraz was making these allegations in the 90s. Basically politics was the cause of their fallout.

This is the best explanation I've read here.

There are number of reasons for this beef. From what i have read from nadeem farooq paracha, it was their political beliefs that caused a rift in them as Sarfraz nawaz used to be hardcore jiyala in his youth and drank himself to death upon hearing of bhutto's hanging.

He was active in pakistani politics in late 80's and held positions in both punjab's provincial government in 1985 & then as advisor in Benazir's government. To give you a brief idea about his personality, think of this man as the punjabi version of Javed miandad. Just like Javed, he is extremely combative, doesn't back of from criticizing when he disagrees with some one and also holds a lot of grudges & counter reacts with harsh below the belt statements. Also he was one of the first un-official whistle blowers about match fixing going on in sharjah in the 80's & ball tampering stuff. I might be wrong but I think before sarfraz started sprouting this match fixing stuff, folks in pakistan or india didnt even know that such a thing existed. Of course he was a bit like Dr shahid masood (Famous Pak Journalist) that he would say stuff like this & explicitly state that i have evidence. When asked for evidence, he would backtrack & take u-turn. Even in 2000's decade, he was the most notorious blamer of them all & would use team's poor performance as an excuse to deliver un-substantiated allegations. After 2007 WC matches, he would say k ye dono matches fix hue hain ur puri team ko ECL me dalo without any solid proofs or evidence whatsoever. Just to clarify, I am not anti-sarfraz nawaz at all. Just telling you how he has conducted himself on TV/News in the last 20-30 years .

So naturally khan would defend himself from such claims in the 80's which would **** him off (I know it sounds dumb but it is a pakistani uncle type of thing getting irritated when the other public figure doesn't publicly accept his supposed faults or tries to wiggle out by diplomacy & then reacting by sling mud at his reputation, Miandad does the same thing nowadays). Also i had read from dawn or tribune once that khan had some issues with BB's government in 1990 and khan has some remarks to the media. Sarfaraz being advisor to PP was no doubt instructed by BB or The Devil Zardari to counter him. So naturally sarfaraz started talking crap about Khan.

Events took a bad turn when khan refused to welcome BB during her trip to Shaukat Khanam in 1994. This angered the dumb jyalas who were the patwaris of the 1970's-1990's. Sarfraz then upped his game & used every below the belt insult for khan including him smoking weed, his drinking, partying, match fixing, ball tampering & lot of bull cringey stuff about the way he ran shaukat khanum.

Secondly as you have seen khan as gone through a huge transformation from lanky teen to playboy to glorious all rounder & all-conquering captain to a populist politician. One of Imran khans' biggest qualities & at the same time biggest flaw is his use of islamic rhetoric in his political career. I mean i am not anti Imran as well but even i hate a former playboy giving lectures like an authority figures on morality & stuff as if he has done nothing wrong. The same mud slinging tactics are now being used in political circles by guys like Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman since the 1990's & N league since the last 7 years. Their methods aren't too far from what Sarfraz Nawaz started. But I still respect Khan more than any Pak cricketer & don't respect Sarfaraz as much for these cheap shots.

Why i despise sarfaraz is that he went too below the belt with Khan. He was Khan's best mate, so naturally he knew a lot about khan as they always hung out with each other & judging by reading some articles, sarfaraz was a huge party lover like imran as well. But to use this intimate knowledge to spite Immy speaks more of his character more than it does of Khan. Imran on the other hand has always handled himself with grace and has always replied calmly to Sarfraz's Allegation. The below two links will give you an idea of both their personalities.

RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday said that drug addiction has become a curse for society, adding that the government has vowed to safe Pakistani youth from the problem.

He was addressing an inauguration ceremony at the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) headquarters in Rawalpindi.

"Drugs are silent killers. Unfortunately, this problem has penetrated schools and colleges. We have to collectively fight this problem," he said.

He said that whenever society embraces things which are forbidden in Islam, it is bound to be destructive.

"Whatever has been instructed in the Qu'ran is only for the benefit of humankind," he said. "Back in the 1980s, many people earned money by selling drugs but society accepted them. This was the biggest setback for our country."

Citing statistics, PM Imran Khan said that more than 70 million young people in Pakistan have fallen prey to drug addiction, which is a dangerously high number.

He recalled the recent incident in Kasur where a man, said to be a drug addict, threw his five children into the Jamber canal.

"Whenever a person becomes a drug addict, their entire family suffers. If there are 70 million drug addicts in the country, it means that 70 million families are struggling," he said.

70 million drug addicts, that can’t be true .. that’s more than 1/3 of the population.

As per the article he is citing stats, My assumption its from last few decades in total? 70 million young that too.

The biggest liar and the most shameless cricketer ever from Pakistan, Sarfraz Nawaz.

What is incredible is that no legal action was taken or threatened against Sarfraz.

What is this free-for-all, where anyone can say anything about anybody.
