Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohamamd Amir's partnership under pressure > many 100s by some others

Innings like Sarfaraz and Amir which were totally under pressure are much better than many useless 100's of other players which couldnt win us the game! What do you guys thought?

Amir should be getting the plaudits, he was composed throughout and played like the batsmen in the partnership while Sarfraz gave catching practice at the other end.

Yes Sarfaraz struggled got lucky but still carried on without losing his composure. Even before the dropped catch Sarfaraz got us back into the game.
Definitely Amir performed oustandingly and excellant composure.

True that! I agree his catch was dropped but it was not like he was on 0, he batted really well and scored I guess around 40 before giving that catch, so you cant dismiss those 40 runs under pressure and still keeping the composure is why commentator called him street fighter.

Amir on the other hand was outstanding and definitely deserves a promotion! Wont mind having him batting in the position of Imad.

I didn't. I'm actually not sure Pak would have won even if he did get 3 chances.

You can add Fakhar to the list though.

But they should have atleast scored 39 under pressure first before giving a catch!

Sarfaraz played a gutsy inning along with Amir.

Catch was dropped but he made them pay for that unlike many others who couldnt even score the forst 39 runs let alone winning a match after a dropped catch.

He is the captain, he thoroughly deserved the Man of the match for his effort, the captain always has extra pressure on him.. he is not Steve Waugh and he is not being doing this for a while.

We will most likely not have won if Sarfraz wasn't there, if Amir got out we still know Hasan Ali can bat

How is it three? Close run out calls happen in every match and have happended with almost all the players, should we discount all those runs as well.
Second catch was pretty difficult to be honest, first one was easy but atleast by than he did gave Pakistan some hope.

Azhar can't bat quickly to save his life, so that rules him out of the equation.

Babar can't play against any team besides the WI

Imad hasn't batted well at all in any of his years as a Pakistan batsman except one series against the English team, which is why he is still playing here today

Amir looked flawless while batting while Sarfaraz was a bit tentative and nervous plus he gave SL 5,6 opportunities but the main thing is that he stayed there till the end and fought like a true leader and because of that we won us a famous match otherwise it would have been another embarrassment us
