I feel this will Misbah's last series as captain/player. When the going gets tough; Misbah appear clueless is captain.
Azhar Ali's odi side will get thrashed as well. It seems that Sarfraz would lead Pakistan in all three formats in near future.

Moin khan said that misbah himself plays safe, and when the batsmen gets settle he sends in a message to not to lose your wicket. So again where does he force to bat defensive?

Also read all the players interview and what they have to sat about misbah. No player says he force him to bat defensive

I truly don't understand the obsession with Sarfraz, a player with 30 average and one dimensional batting style can only be touted as a future captain in Pakistan. He first needs to work on his game, honestly his position in all format can also be questioned. He is just lucky that we don' have half decent replacements. When he revived his batting and came to t20 squad, he did had some flair but very soon teams found out that his only shot is sweep which is becoming his downfall.

He is the most consistent performer in all 3 formats and makes the team on merit, so he is a logical choice for captaincy.

If it comes down to that, dropping him from T20s should not be a problem. Kamran/Rizwan/Umar can replace him as a WK batsman in T20s and T20 captaincy is less significant than Test and ODI captaincy.

If he became test skipper I think he should give up t20 capatincy as we don't want to over burden him. We can than use the t20 capatincy to groom a new skipper such as Babar or Imad.

Sarfaraz is no Dhoni, but the best one available for the job . At least he plays with a positive intent. If we ever had a better choice, he could be replace but FGS save up from Misbah like team mentality, old, unfit and non-performing players.

Not a fan of one captain for all 3 formats. He is the prime candidate for captaincy of Tests and ODIs but then he should leave the T20 captaincy. Besides he isn't exactly a great T20 player.

I like Misbah and Azhar..and feel they are honest hardworking players but they seriously lack any killer instinct. Misbah needs to get out of the defensive mindset...Aussies are going to score regardless and he doesn't need to hand them 3 to 4 runs an over on a plate. The earlier Sarfaraz takes over in all formats the better for this team.

Sarfraz should take Test captaincy.

He's not an ideal batsmen for T20s or ODIs, so how can he captain there? Same for Azhar.

But, in ODIs, he might still play as a WK/bat, because he's better than the likes of Malik, Shehzad, Rizwan. Still not a top ODI bat.

its a no brainer. No one else in the team is worth of captaining any 1 team, let alone all 3

leave it to PCB to overall an aggressive player with great captaincy experience to go with a guy who's already into his mid-30's, 1-dimensional and not even good enough to earn a spot in the playing 11

why isnt anyone talking about the 6-3 legside field?? THIS WAS THEIR PLAN A and it started in over number 10. every pundit was left scratching their heads as to that strategy. Yes, these are the worst of conditions for your batsmen and they will struggle alot. Yes, you will drop catches bcs its not a plate of biryaani. Yes, you will look for magic ball every ball bcs you dont have the fitness to bowl 'top of off' stuff for too long but the 'STRATEGY' has to be talked about more. im glad we lost the toss because if we won; i wouldnt b surprised if we put Aus into bat anyways. misbah would say 'there was little moisture in the pitch that we were trying to exploit". YA ALLLAH!!!
