thats an embarrassing dismissal for a guy who have been highly praised by the coach...
 
He just doesn’t have any big shots. He reminds of one of those players that naturally is able to defend well, get singles etc and is hard to get out. But shots don’t come naturally to home compared to say someone like Babar Azam. Who will be defending but when the bad ball comes, will instinctively put it away for 4. Talat always seems like he had to try very hard / premeditate any big shot.

I thought that throughout the psl as well.
 
Asif played in against the wind? It was Afridi kind of start
 
Still Asharf, Nawaz and Hasan in the hut but lack of runs is the problem
 
where are the people who were bashing Sarfi yesterday for not promoting asif and talat:uakmal

have my doubts about Asif. Talat I may give few more chances..
 
We as pak passioners tend to say a lot of things after just one match. We need to calm down a bit:
 
I'd have preferred to send Ashraf instead of Shadab. Ashraf can bat really powerfully once he gets going.

Asif is needed, he is a pretty good hitter of the ball. Wind didnt do him any favor

Yeah just saw the replay of his dismissal, he got all of it and the ball went pretty long got held just inside the boundary might have been wind factor
 
Malik vs spinners makes it look so easy to hit a 6.

Please everybody on this team, seek Malik's advice on how to play spinners.

This is why I like Mickey as a coach, he doesnt discard players after one match or series.
If he wouldnt he been such we might never have seen so much of ABD and Amla. Same is the case with Babr or Sharjeel and now Fakhar
 
Easy to be a Sharma and smash 200 when the stars align, harder to be a Kohli and take your side home when the back is against the wall. Shoaib has rescued us plenty of times of before.
 
Okay Shadab, its time to actually play big shots. Pakistan is playing like they have no batting left.

Yes with this theory England has become the worst ODI side and their bowlers are the worst in the world!

One bad stroke in one match and you have all kind of theories about Asif and like some others you might never post when he is gonna perform and will try to bog is performace down and when he will not perform you will try to be the first one to criticize just to prove that your prediction was right.

Now why does that remind me of a certain "Hall of Famer" :)
 
And this is why I wanted Ashraf instead of Shadab. Ashraf is a much bigger power hitter and to be honest, I think he is just a better batsmen at this point in their respective career.
 
Greatest T20I team of all time, will thump India in a bilateral T20 series etc.

I know he seems to like talat too. People have no patience here. He is a very good find for us and will come good.
