So after my Matrrixx Terminator L.e retired , i thought it was time for some low end bat coz they perform the same and its just about the aesthetics and therefore i bought the SG Reliant Extreme. and I personally feel it is much more better than my L.E. and costed just 1/4th of it.I'm charging my cam right now and would post the pics as soon as it is charged later tonight.
And for your information it costed me 40GBP :D

Value wise it is an amazing deal mate. Nice pictures too but next time while taking close up pics of the grains etc. use the Macro function and it will be even more crisp.

I must say the SG edge sizes have taken off in the last couple of years. They never had these massive edges...changing times!!

Its impressive to be honest, for 40 GBP it is bargain looks too good for 40 GBP

What weight is it? And hows the pickup ?

i also consulted the onlinestockist guy (lives near my house) but he sells these bats very expensive also doesnt have any stock.

So does Ajit really have a non-virtual store? He hardly has anything in stock at anytime; but if he completes an order it normally turns out to be a belter as seen through many of our friends here.

I think what Ajit does is that once you order the stuff he will then order that from manufacturer and then ship it onto you.

I would call him sort of a middle person.

one of the best things of the SG bat is their grip(CHEV-tech) and oval handles, no company in india makes such good oval handles like them

I was about to ask about the handle but kept quite.

It is great to see Oval Handles on SG bats.

REally I still can't believe you got this for 40 GBP!! Absolutely bargain it is!

I hope it serves you extremely well!

Could you please show us some close ups of the handle?

Really not sure whether oval handles are mass produced by SG, specially in low-mid range models. Round handles is the norm. Yes, the grips do look quite nice.

Really nice face: no blemishes but lots of straight grains.

the guy from whom i bought it is a very nice guy and has known me for some years, so when i buy from him he gives me the best one he has and the stock he has is just awesome.

Yeah sure its just that my friend has taken my cam and he would be back in an hour or two , after that will post some pics surely :)

Cool. So does the bottom part feel oval or is it oval, overall? Also, is this a 2012 model? I am asking these questions as I am quite, quite sure that SG's mass produced bats normally have not had oval handles over all these years.

nice bat looks awesome for 40 pounds hope it plays well for you

Your right Anmol bhai, it is a very good bat for £40.
SG do not have oval shape handles, they are round. SF & BAS have oval shape handles, BDM semi oval and all SG & SS have round shapes handle.

in the picture showing the edges the spine looks very interesting where is the mmiddle located? mid-high?

So have you played with it yet? How is the so called 'ping'?

No i did not play with it but i certainly knocked it , first with a mallet and then with a ball and the ping of the bat is amazing, the ball just flies off if middled correctly but the toe needs bit more work.

Good for you Harry :)

The SG bats with higher middles like this one or the RSD range or even the Viru range need ample toe work. ENJOY the bargain boy :)
