The main thing is his bowling, if he is still bowling pies every over then he isn't useful as his batting is good for leagues but not quite there at international level for being a top order batsman.

Maaz sadaqat is a better all rounder than shadab, shadab is not a finisher either. Both can play middle order, but maaz bowling is better.
