This is where Kohli drives me crazy. Ashwin on current form is much better than Chahal, why not give him a couple of games, instead of saying he is not part of the plans. On top of it Ashwin is a much better batsmen and fielder.

Just posting these stats in every thread criticizing Shadab is not enough man, come on now. He has been below par and is rightfully out of the team. There is no saazish keeping him out.

Chahal is a better bowler than Shadab. Also Chahal was not hyped as a speical talent like Shadab has been earmarked for.

It was surprising that Kuldeep fizzled so quickly. Chahal was the consistent one but he's not an attacking option anymore. Rashid outbowled Chahal easily. Time for Ashwin I think. Maybe IPL will be the deciding factor considering Chahal is a bad fielder and is a terrible batter.

I will take Shadab any day over the Muscles man. Shadab can at least bat a bit and he is also a very good fielder. Chahal is none of that.

Babar wanted to extend the match till 44th over that's why he didnt give any over to shadab, Otherwise, the match could have been concluded before the 40th over.

Shadab is a better guy to have in T20. Good utility player. But with his half trackers and full tosses he can be a match loser for you in ODIs. I don't think his batting is good enough to compensate for whatever he leaks with ball. Your only chance is batsmen mistiming his full tosses or wide half trackers. If a batsman starts timing and he will be a lamb to slaughter. In T20 he is used to defensive bowling a lot. Throwing fast/flat and wide which will be dealt with in ODIs. Sure in lois you don't have to bowl well to take wickets. Sometimes filth balls get wickets. But you sure don't hope for that instead of hoping for Shadab to land the ball better.
