Dolphins always play better without him, his selfish attitude will come to the fore.

says hi.
Lols, should have gone with Asad. He is the future.
What happened to Asad Shafiq leading the team

KCCA were flying high, making Asad Shafiq the captain of a T20 team. Sami led us well, Latif led us several times and not to forget Latif was the man of the tournament last time.
Asad is our future not Latif,Sami or Afridi
latif, sami, shahzaib and afridi. No wonder why Dolphins choke under pressure.)
The future does not have any captaincy experience yet. And we can not risk Karachi Dolphins by making an inexperience captain in this competitive tournament. And if we want to develop him as a captain for future? Let him captain Karachi Zebras.
Agree. Rather see Afridi captaining than Asad. To be fair to Asad anyway, he isn't a T20 regular, nor is he an ODI one really (don't expect he'll play next ODI, with Azhar bound to play now, and someone else at six, probably Malik or Harris Sohail, not that Malik really deserves a spot though on his form). So he has to focus on developing himself as a limited overs player, and keeping up his good test career so far. Don't see the point of him gaining limited overs captaincy experience at the moment (which is pretty different to tests), especially in T20 a format he's unlikely to play much in. Faysal Bank is important, it identifies potential limited over stars, and that shouldn't be messed up by a guy just trying his hand at captaincy. Yeah it's just T20, but it pulls a lot of people, a lot of people watch, plus it's televised. So it gives a chance for cricketers to perform and a lot of people to notice. The future does not have any captaincy experience yet. Well its time he gets it, this tournament isnt that serious. Asad Shafiq should be trained and with Afridi to help him he can learn

Having said that, thought Sami did a decent job when he captained the Dolphins. Might have been better to stick with him.
Champions Trophy?? It isn't serious? The biggest competition of the country? Argue with some logic. He should prove his credentials by captaining a weaker side in my opinion coz he does not have any kind of captaincy experience. And he is not a good T20 player.
Did i ever say champions trophy is serous, if asad captains a weak side he wont get alot of matches. If he captains a side with afridi, latif he has more chances and more confidence
These were the days. (Don't mind me just getting nostalgic, thought I share something)

Hopefully he give chance to Saad shakila Karachi UNDER-19 all rounder
How old is Saud Shakeel if he was already a known talent in 2012? His real age must be 27/28 something then?
25 now.
