Shahid Afridi to host Junaid Jamshed's Ramzan show

Cricketer and former Pakistani cricket team captain Shahid Afridi will host the Ramzan show in place of Junaid Jamshed this year.

According to sources, Shahid Afridi will not only host the show but also his ‘Shahid Afridi Foundation’ will help the needy during the transmission on a private TV channel.

The announcement was made by the co-host of program ‘Shaan-e-Ramzan’ which will be aired under the name of ‘Shan-e-Pakistan’ this year.

Singer turned religious scholar Junaid Jamshed passed away in a plane crash on 7 December, 2016 near Havelian, Pakistan.

He was coming back from a religious tour from Chitral along with his wife.

I personally enjoy them not that I watch the whole show. Living in the UK its nice to have a program from Pakistan which is related to Ramadan, it brings a light hearted feel to what here is a long tiring day in the summer.

yes but it goes on for way too long

for eg it starts at 4pm here and then goes on till isha (arnd 9pm)

and lot of random things in b/w such as quiz shows (with stupid questions)

very little of the show is actual talk on islam

and then theres sehri shows as well

ha really. I only watch it an hour or so before Iftar. The UK english channels get very tedious, its' all about donations donations for them.

When you go all out at iftar time and are unable to move for the next 3 hours because your tummy has increased by 6 inches in diameter then such shows serve as a good time pass.

Masoomana Islami has been exposed quite abit. If he has an Iota of Sharam than he should not host an Islamic or So-called Islamic show along with Afridi & Iqrar.

But knowing Pakistan & the Eemaani fans he would most probably host the show along with alot of SubhaanAllah's, MashaAllah's, Allah hoo Akbar's, JazaakAllah's.
