Steve Smith had changed his batting stance from 2017 onwards in international cricket however post 2023, his form declined and he had been averaging 33 in test cricket.
Then during BGT 2024-2025, Smith went back to his original 2015 stance. As soon as he did he scored 2 back to back centuries against India followed by 2 back to back centuries against Sri Lanka in test cricket.
I noticed that Babar's original stance from 2016 allowed him to play spin alot better then his current stance, his old stance gives him better control of the backfoot and yes while Zimbabwe's bowling is poor, babar's original stance allowed him to tackle spin alot better then his current stance does.
