Steve Smith had changed his batting stance from 2017 onwards in international cricket however post 2023, his form declined and he had been averaging 33 in test cricket.

Then during BGT 2024-2025, Smith went back to his original 2015 stance. As soon as he did he scored 2 back to back centuries against India followed by 2 back to back centuries against Sri Lanka in test cricket.

I noticed that Babar's original stance from 2016 allowed him to play spin alot better then his current stance, his old stance gives him better control of the backfoot and yes while Zimbabwe's bowling is poor, babar's original stance allowed him to tackle spin alot better then his current stance does.

For reference, watch the YouTube video on Pakistan cricket channel.

Brother Sunny bhai already said it.
Sunny is focusing on a different stance. I'm referring to his 2016 stance which was more suited to playing spin then his current stance.

Sunny wants a totally different stance which doesnt make sense. Its much harder for a batsmen to adopt a new stance then to simply return to a previous stamce that they once had.

My bad Momin bhai,
I should have never doubted you.
