Yeah he's struggled in the last few matches. It's not the end of the world.

Which has also ruined his stats.

I won’t be too harsh on him. He’s still developing, he’s having to do at international level. It doesn’t look likely he will start against the West Indies though.

Shaheen is a good prospect but is not ready for this wc on these pitches. He bowls too short and those are easy hit me balls. Shaheen should have been prepared for the next wc. Hasnain is young also and has only played a few games but i see improvements in him every game unlike shaheen.I think haris rauf should have been selected instead of shaheen.

It shows the lack of planning when you expect a teenage bowler to be your frontline pacer at the World Cup his lack of experience and current loss of form now poses more problems with Shadab looking rusty aswell things are looking bad.

Shahen was our best bowler in last series he played before England series he could not have been left out

Needs to be given one more chance against Bangladesh

The guy isn't adapting to these conditions.
Why would you want him in the team???
He's a future prospect so keep him but not for the wc. He just humiliated himself by getting smacked for 5 fours against Zazai .

Seems like the whole squad can play warmup games. I'm sure he'll get some overs. I'd drop for the WI game though.

I would leave the decision on Ban warm up

Amir looked completely non threatening. So if shahen can rediscover his SA series form or even part of it we should play him ahead of Amir

Junaid was clear better.. speed is nothing is you are erratic.. on these pitches umar khan would have been better

Amir kept it tight and would have taken a wicket if Sarfaraz had a slip in place for him. SSA got bludgeoned to all corners - probably cost us the match...

Great prospect, g but seems to not have the strategic part down at the moment.

On a lighter note I feel since Shaheen started to focus more on his hair style (notice the new puffy look), his bowling has gone down the drain.

It’s been tough for Shaheen. We shouldn’t forget he’s still very young and raw and has very little experience of professional cricket. We sped up his selection to make him learn in the field and he’ll go through phases of good, bad, and irrelevant performances. Same for Hasnain. We have to back Shaheen. He can turn it around in the WC..he’s shown what he can do and if he can find his mojo we will benefit a lot.

Honestly pak management needs to review their fast track policy of gettig under 19 players into the national setup without any prior FC career. This makes an absolute mockery of those players who have been striving day and night in this demented domestic setup. Anyone with a little raw talent is being bought in termed as the next waqar or wasim or possibly a messiah. Mark my words hasnain will be even worse in the next 6 months now.
