Should PCB add ODIs to the Bangladesh tour?

Just a thought but give the current situation where negotiations with the BCB are at a standstill - should PCB also add a few ODI’s to the mix to be played in Pakistan (along with the T20’s) if tests aren’t to be played in the UAE?

Understandably- the operating costs of playing tests at a neutral venue is high but perhaps a few ODI matches could help recover some of those costs?

We have a boring season ahead anyways.

No international cricket till July after the BD series. SA may come but only for 3 T20is.

BCB want to be in and out of Pakistan in a week, apparently, so can't fit in more matches in that period.

Plus, it will give PCB and Misbah another headache - the ODI team. Remember, Sarfaraz is still (officially) the captain...

I personally love ODI more than T20.

So, I would love to see ODI games if tour goes ahead. Cancel the T20 series perhaps.

We can't just keep on doing that with nations.

Bangladesh doesn't hate us that much. So there's no need for this.

Not a bad idea provided Bangladesh agree for another week's stay. And they agree on returning for tests at a later point if LOI series happens without any incident.

We should negotiate with the BCB further and see if we can add a few more days to the itinerary. I think 3 T20’s and 2 ODI’s would be ideal. Tests could then be played in the UAE. A mutually beneficial situation for both.

Regarding Sarfraz - that is the least of our concerns, no?

Perhaps to please the BCB, the PCB should suggest a T20I followed straight away on the same day by a ODI

Why don’t we play one test match in Pakistan (that would be the length of time Bangladesh would be here for 3 T20s), and one test match in UAE to appease them.

The T20s can all be played in UAE.

This is the way to appease their demands, but also make them look incredibly stupid.

Good idea. But recently they are citing concerns for T20is as well. Very confused people in BCB administration.
