Should Shahid Afridi be brought back into the IT20 team?

We are still lacking a brilliant allrounder who is a good finisher and a good bowler.
Looking at his performances in the BPL, Afridi seems to be unplayable and can still be a very handy allrounder.
So, do you guys think that Afridi is a better player when he is not captaining ? Can/Should he make a comeback ?

The only aim shouldn't be to prepare for the next world cup. Bilateral matches are important too. SA play AB and Amla in ODIs, even though they probably won't be playing until the 2019 WC.

He is bending his back properly in BPL, that's why getting the desired results, he can still be a useful T20I bowler.

Lol at BPL being better then PSl. BPL is by a counrty mile the worst league out there involved in fixing, not paying their player, commenatators who will male you go sleep, poor quality of players (quite a few including bangladesh and oversees), poor coverage etc. The are comfortably the worst league big a very huge margin too.

Of course he should. If we are strictly talking player ability without naming anyone, Afridi's skillset is the best we have in T20. On merit, he should easily make the side. Instead we have Rizwan who neither balls nor gets to bat and is basically just a passenger.

Problem is though, people just use their personal hate or agenda to bash him. Instead of justifying why he shouldn't play or why x player is better than him all they can say is that he is too old. Well Misbah and Younis are older and the way they are in the test side on merit, Afridi deserves to be in T20 side on merit.

Can also make a case for him in the ODI side as he is a much better all rounder than Nawaz and is a power hitter which we desperately need but I will not even go there.
