Should Test cricket have free hits?

There have been free hits in ODI's and T20s for a very long time now. However, do you believe free hits should be introduced in Test matches?

I think that it wouldn't be a bad idea. It's called test cricket for a reason and so that way there is more punishment for bowling a no ball. Furthermore, it will make test cricket more entertaining as a chance of more boundaries.

No, absolutely not, not a good idea. Test cricket isn't a hit and giggle show, test cricket is a test of endurance, test of character, test of skill, you don't get freebees in test cricket.

No, having said that all balls should be checked for no ball, the amount of no balls WI bowled (& missed by the umps) was just too much! If you're not balling legitimate deliveries then you ought to be penalized, free hit won't solve this but calling every no ball bowled (via TV umpire) will somewhat eradicate this problem.

Only thing that I want to happen in test cricket is uniformity in balls being used across every test. Cant have kookaburra being used in Australia while dukes being used in England.

Also, bat size restrictions should be uniformly applied across.

We need to look from other perspective i.e. The bowler has made a mistake and shud be penalised for it and free hit is wat the punishment shud be as it is in other formats of cricket. There is nothing wrong in it

The bowler is already penalized by having the bowl the delivery again and costing an extra run to his team, free hit is named a FREE hit because it is a freebee, no place for freebees in the purest form of the game, keep that joke in hit and giggle format

Test cricket should not be tampered with at all. Its pinnacle of cricket , leave it in its original form. Only thing that should be looked after is good test standard pitches , which can have balance between bat and ball.
