Javed Miandad would be perfect for the role. All the opponents vouch for Miandad being extremely chirpy in the field even with his broken english and would find ways to get under the skin of the opposition.

Man you do come up with some really creative threads have to give you that

It seems that you are more interested in fights and abuses than actually playing Cricket and win the match.

You only need 1 player to do sledging not a whole squad

Creative ideas are needed to help the players come out of their shell like Azhar Ali for e.g. Its time to move on from the nice boy, acha shareef larka culture.

South africa also have shareef larka culture only ateyn is the bad boy.

You only need 1 or 2 guys to be able to sledge.

Sledging is something that comes naturally you cannot coach it. Can't expect achay shareef larkay to be good sledgers. A sledger is innately a bad boy who doesn't take BS from anyone.

To sledge, you need to speak English well. Otherwise, the sledge will fail miserably.

Sledging in Urdu might work on Indian and Bangla players.

Nope. You dont need to be good in a language to sledge.

Remember it only took the word "monkey" to get syminds crazy

Yes Miandad was a PHD in English. I am sure he needed good English skills to get under Merv Hughes and Dennis Lillee's skin.

Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq will benefit immensely from a Sledging coach i.e. Miandad. They need a danda from someone with fire under their belly. For far too long these guys have been indoctrinated too always behave like nice shareef acha bachas.

I believe with some fire under their bellies, their performances will sky rocket.

Bro Shafiq and Shehzad might just need an actual coach...rather than a sledging one.....

Both these players are way below par than what is expected of them at this level.

Pick one or two Karachi street types, 100% success in sledging guaranteed. Sarfaraz has potential but is the captain so has to behave.

Misbah ruined the culture of the team with his losing with grace philosophy.

We need in your face players looking unsettle the opposition.

Hopefully Amir and Hasan can do this on Sunday.

Misbah era players like Azhar and Shafiq won't even learn from a coach they're epitome of mediocrity.

I feel sledging will come automatically with a killer attitude on the field when playing.

Right now our batsmen bat at 70-100 strike rate while our bowlers haven't been up to the mark.

Once batsmen start playing more aggressive consistently with 100+ strike rate and when bowlers fire up more and show their hunger for wickets only then this killer mentality will form.

Sledging coaches won't work at all, especially with Miadad who was a proven failure as a coach.

Sledging goes hand in hand with performance. Styen sledges or kohli sledges they support it by their on field performance. You will be called a fool if you sledge and trundle your way through overs getting hit all over the park.
prime example was shoaib akhter if he sledged a player he would back it by a ferocious yorkwr or bouncer. Miandad was a confident player himself his performances were there for everyone to see. How can he pass that thing to azhar and shafiq who looks nervous 80 percent of the time they batting.

Harbhajan actually used the Hindi/Punjaabi word "Teri Maa ki..", which Symonds misinterpreted as ""Monkey". It is a classic example of Australian sledgers being paid back in their own coin, though inadvertantly. Australians certainly learnt their lessons after this episode.

The current lot of Pakistani cricketers consist of the most unmasculine and sissy players I have ever seen. Extremely namby-pamby lot.

Our cricketers are only good at bullying the likes of Balaji Rao of Canada.

The Sri Lankan players were chirping a lot.

We did not know whether they were sledging or trying to communicate with us. We just laughed.

Sledging comes naturally to some. You need to be innately aggressive and I see that only in Wahab to be honest in the current Pakistan team.

Dude, if you have the extra money then suggest this thing to PCB. Ridiculous suggestion to be honest.

One more important point that why don't Pakistan target opponent captain or main player in press conference before series. It also works and do by Australia, England etc. Like before champions trophy match, imad wasim can say " kohli had poor ipl, we will cash on it"...or "this time Indian batting is unsettled, we will try to catch them on low score"...or "dhoni struggling with power hitting" etc

Agree with OP. Pakistan has other major bases covered so focus should be to get better at sledging.
