No! she can't. Only a competent and willing government can solve this problem that shouldn't be a problem to begin with.

Lol Cute

Her efforts are like those environmental drives that adults run al over Pakistan.

makes no difference, all you end up doing is getting your picture taken, increasing the length of your CV and thats about it.

If you give a carp about environment and garbage and all. First place a freaken recycling bin in your class room, then move forward

Easy to run mouth from behind a keyboard. This 10 year old has already doing more than what you are doing.

how so?

She makes a paper purse, the person uses it for a week or so, and some way another it makes its way back to garbage.

Not even a zilch of a difference is being made.

I on the other hand sell my news paper garbage for 400 rupees. And trust me even i dont make a zilch of a difference aswell.

If she is trying to clean up the environment, reduce garbage, her efforts are useless........

Yeh yeh i get shes 10 and all. But there is difference between a smart worker and a hard worker.

She could get better results or make a bigger difference if she could get her school to place recycling bins in the whole campus. Promote recycling in the school, reduce the schools garbage.

i never understood why the govt never sees the benefit of recycling. Nawaz Shareef's family business was in scrap for gods sake.

Countries in the west thrive on recycling alone

That's absurdly harsh criticism towards a 10-year-old child.

What about the funds she's collecting and directing to charities?

The BBC piece should drive additional interest to her Zeebags leading to larger donations. It's all about taking baby steps towards a larger goal.

Nothing will change if our awaam doesn’t change. And that will only happen through proper education.

Its harsh i know. But bbc potrays as if this kid could solve a bigger problem, and then another poster comes in to bash me for telling reality.
