No offence but most of these just look forced. Why do we have to bring the 1992 World Cup into everything? This is an amazing achievement in and of itself

It was 20th Ramazan on 1992 world cup final date....... 25th March 1992..

It waa 20th Ramazan on date of final of 1992 world cup...25th Mar 1992... It was 20th Ramazan..

23) We were the best team in the world then, and we are the best team in the world today too.

24) Haters were present in 1992, haters remain present today.

But just know, you never question what Square Drive predicts before Pakistan takes the field. :akhtar

In cricket most games won are similar

Anyways we knocked out the favourites and host nation in the semis

By the Way if Azhar played similar to Miandad I must have been missing something

Made 58/70 Miandad made 50/98

Oh god.

Had pakistan won 2011 world cup or any other tournament similarities could had been pulled out.

I remember the 1992 World Cup clearly and it was an amazing feeling.

The CT 2017 was VERY close in terms of the sheer joy. In fact, in terms of performance, the CT 2017 exceeded the 1992 world cup.

in 1992 both teams had 11 players and in CT final both teams had 11 players
in 1992 it was green vs blue, in CT final it was green vs blue
in 1992 all players had 2 eyes, in CT final all players had 2 eyes
and it can go on

One thing which is totally different is in 2017 we totally decimated the opposition team. 1992 was still some match

2017-1992 = 25
25 / 5 (number of matches played in CT by Pakistan) = 5
5 is a prime number so 2017-5 = 2012
It was predicted the world would end in 2012 and a new era would usher upon us......

Theory Fulfilled !!

Oh both occasions both teams had 11 players and there were two on-field umpires :yk2 :yk2

1992 match was played with a cricket ball, so was 2017!

The amazing thing - both balls had the same freakin color too!!

Also, both grounds were round in shape and had good quality of grass.

Both were played in front of an audience - not empty stands.

Add all the digits of 1992:

1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21

Add the first digits numbers of 1992:

(1 + 9) = 10

Subtract the last two digits of 1992:

(9 - 2) = 07

Now combine the results:

2017

Wow wow wow :raja

Only interesting ones is the 22nd of Ramzan, and no ball ones.

Rest are bus kuch bhi types.

Pakistanis opponents in 92 and 17 were both cricket teams!

Wow wow wow :raja

Be honest, how long did it take you to come up with that? :yk

You missed a few:

In 1992 a fast bowler missed the tournament due to injury. In 2017 a fast bowler missed the tournament due to injury.

The name of the fast bowler injured in 1992 starts with a 'W'. The name of the fast bowler injured in 2017 starts with a 'W'.

In 1992 final, the second name of the left arm bowler who took three crucial wickets, starts with an 'A'. In 2017 final, the second name of the left arm bowler who took three crucial wickets, starts with an 'A'.

In 1992 final we had a player named Wasim. In 2017 final we had a player named Wasim.

In 1992 final we had a player named Aamir. In 2017 final we had a player named Aamir.

In 1992 final we had a player whose second name was Khan. In 2017 final we had a player whose second name was Khan.

In 1992 final we had a player whose second name was Ahmed. In 2017 final we had a player whose second name was Ahmed.

In 1992 final we had a player whose second name was Malik. In 2017 final we had a player whose second name was Malik.

In 1992 final one of the openers name started with an 'A'. In 2017 final one of the openers name started with an 'A'.

In 1992 final we batted out all of the 50 overs. In 2017 final we batted out all the 50 overs.

Now on to the more spookier ones:

In 1992 final a guy named Rameez Raja caught the final catch. In 2017 final à guy named Rameez Raja was commentating the final catch.

In 1992 final the team won whose name rhymed with 'Pakistan'. In 2017 final the team won who name rhymed with 'Pakistan'.

So there you go guys, your own success formula. Just make sure you have players with the right name in your team and Rameez Raja somewhere in the ground. Also make sure to have a fast bowler just to have him injured and miss the tournament.

in 1992 the captain that won the tournament won the toss and batted first..

in 2017 the same captain who won the tournament predicted batting first will win you the title... and IT DID

#SUCHLEGENDMUCHWOW

in 1992 Nawaz Sharif was the PM of Pakistan..

in 2017 Nawaz Sharif is the PM of Pakistan...

We lost to India and zimbabwe in Robin round and ended up in a semi final with New Zealand in 1992 😀

Some noticeable similarities between the last t20 world cup

1. Silly statement that was interpreted negatively and then when we started winning it was interpreted as a masterstroke. Previously it was Younis Khans its just fun cricket or WWE and now its Qudrat ka nizam.

2. One player coming into the squad and giving the whole team a boost. It was Razzaq then and its Haris now.

Congrats Pakistan lol I have been saying this since NZ beat Australia in the inaugural match exactly like in 1992. They had peerless leader Martin crowe. Then they lost to Pakistan in the semi final. Only one more thing has to happen to confirm. Due to injury Martin crowe their maverick leader ould not come on to field. We just have to wait and see if Kane williamson picks up an injury during the game.

Rohit Bhai might have picked up an injury, maybe England will win this time?
