Since umpiring in Pakistan domestic matches is pathetic...

I was wondering, could it be one of the reasons, that technically deficient batsmen like

Awaiz Zia, Shazaib Hasan, Nasir Jamshed keep piling the runs ? (because they are never given LBW properly?)

Also could it be one of the reasons that some bowlers have insane bowling averages like 17 and 16 because they get too many decisions when ball pitches outside leg stump etc...

And if this is the case,

Should domestic averages hold any importance?

Perhaps the selectors are right in ignoring certain players?

Discuss.

I don't want no war, just want opinions if this could be one of the reasons that batsmen and bowlers that are usually hyped are suspect in international games.

It goes both ways , some bad decisions go against you and some for you. Bad umpiring affects both bowlers and batsmen ,so in the end they cancel each other out.

It can't be that bad that the ball pitches outside leg stump and the umpire gives it out!

I think the bowling averages of 18ish could be due to the ball's that Pakistan use,
Still don't understand why Pakistan don't use the same ball's in International games,

The standard can be improved allot obviously but for that there needs to be a total rethink of the structure , pitches, to start with

Terrible umpiring.

Plumb Lbw not given.

It would have been 5th time that a bowling change by Imad would have given federal a wicket.

Sohail Khan very unlucky.

Tanvir says the umpire told him that he (Tanvir) was obstructing his view.

So the umpire is taking guesses? :(

Even my grandma can do better umpiring then this guy....

Tanvir says the umpire told him that he (Tanvir) was obstructing his view.

Nvm, Umpire is right... I have done the same thing in the past, if bowler is obstructing the view then umpire can give a decision based on his interpretation. If Umpire can't see then he can't give a decision whether its a lbw or wide decision. However Umpire should have given the Tanvir a warning for running on the pitch.
