Babar’s head is gone since he lost captaincy. We don’t even need fast innings from him, we just need the reliable scores at average or slow sr at 3. He used to be able to do that in his sleep. Now he can’t even get a run.

Should have waited till Babar produced some form in PSL or something and then picked. We’re just trying to force a player in out of form.
 
Pakistan need to give chances to inform players..most of the players in this match either making comeback or out of form.

Agha out of form
Hasan Nawaz making comeback
Usman khan - comeback
Only Farhaan and Mohd Nawaz are inform batters who performed in Asia Cup.

All those examples are ODIs where you can start slow.

He has played more than 100 matches already, has played more T20 matches for Pakistan
than Rizwan and went nowhere.

A strike rate of 120 means you score 144 runs in 20 overs. That's not impact.

As I said he hasn’t played as opener for 5 years . Saying that he is crap in T20 is baseless

You can judge a batsman who has played 109 T20 matches.

His stats as opener is even worse. Played 44 matches with an average of 22 with just 4 50s as an opener.
 
The last good Pakistan batting team ended its reign in early 2000's. Saeed Anwar, Inzi, MOYO scored enough runs for the likes of Wasim, Waqar, Shoaib, Saqlain to bowl the opposition out.

According to stats Babar is better t20 batter than butler and klaasan . Stats mean nothing in t20
 
Saim Ayub Literally killed the Game in powerplay. From there on it was always going to be a drag on. His 37 off 27 means nothing if you Raise the RR to 15 in first phase

Yeah stat padding means nothing but not having any stats after 109 matches does prove something.

120 strike rate is not something butler and Klassen have. Nice try.

Yes fakhar, a batsman who has far worse numbers after 109 matches than Rizbar is apparently good. The 120 strike rate in Asia cup was excellent

exactly those stats you show mean nothing . If Fakhar had played 5 years as opener he could have achieved much more . Like he did in ODIs . Drop him at number 4 in ODIs and watch him become a liability . Farhan has Average of 20 something in t20 but he tore apart bumrah which Babar or Rizwan can dream off with 40+ average .

Yet again Pak team and management prove to the world that this professional relationship is only one sided

They are getting cheques for every game but the fans are not getting their time & money's worth.

A thoroughly one-sided game but fans are not surprised. It's a new normal.

It's not even because it's T20. Other teams in the world are playing decent T20. The results of their games are not obvious before the 10 overs are bowled while they are batting.
 
Predictably lacklustre performance by Pakistan

Pathetic with both bat and ball. On top an average captain who does not merit a place in the T20team as a player. If Hesson thinks that our WC squad is sorted then we are doomed. This team will do well to get out of group stage

The batting gulf between the two teams can just be gauged from pp performance. South African batsmen were going at almost 13 rpo. Our batsmen were barely managing 6 rpo!
 
Babarians not mentioning Babar’s performance today with bat and on the field in their post match analysis…reminds me the movie The Wanted when the guy dodges the bullet.
 
South Africa B has brushed aside Pakistan like a minnow.

Mind you, Saffers were missing atleast 5-6 first choice players and Pak was playing at full strength. If this is not a minnow level performance then what is?

Mike Hesson has conned PCB. He knew nothing can be done with this pathetic team. So just happy to collect a fat paycheck and keep everyone in delusional and then exit.

13 years and still talking about Fakhar. He should be a memory by now but we keep talking about old players because we dont have a system. Hope is not a strategy. No improvement nothing..same old same old..no strategy to build something..nothing..just naqvi and his.cronies playing manager cosplay..

whose performance is worth mentioning except Nawaz may be?

Babar needed to prove himself in domestic T20 or League to get back in t20 Int. That did nt happen.

Just like we cant Try IK for illegal funds of Malik Riaz without trying Riaz First , Same way Babar cant be held respondible without taking Naqvi and his decision makers to task.. Sense has to pervail
 
It requires basic intelligence as well as the ability to bat .. our batters may have batting ability (OK, scraping the barrel here) but intelligence? Nope.

Hesson is good with words. So he projected a fairytale future of Pakistan white ball cricket with some facny jargon and technical analysis thrown in. PCB is incompetent so easy to fool and get himself a flat paycheck. Deep down, he knew nothing good can be achieved with this poor team. So, grab as much cash as possible and PCB will threw him out sooner or later anyways.
 
South Africa secured a commanding 55-run victory over Pakistan in the first T20I held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday evening. The series now moves to Lahore, where the second and third T20Is will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, 31 October, and Saturday, 1 November, respectively.

Set a target of 195, Pakistan were bowled out for 139 in 18.1 overs. Mohammad Nawaz, batting at number seven, contributed 36 runs and also claimed three wickets in a valiant but unsuccessful effort. Other notable contributions came from Saim Ayub (37 off 28 balls, 1 four, 4 sixes), Sahibzada Farhan (24 off 19, 4 fours), and Usman Khan (12 off 12, 1 four).

Corbin Bosch led South Africa’s bowling attack with an impressive 4 for 14 in four overs, while George Linde chipped in with three wickets using his left-arm spin.

Earlier, South Africa posted 194 for 9 after being asked to bat first in a match where Pakistan wore pink kits to support breast cancer awareness. Reeza Hendricks anchored the innings with a fluent 60 off 40 balls, striking five fours and a six. Linde added late momentum with a brisk 36 off 22 deliveries, including four fours and a six.

For Pakistan, Nawaz was the standout bowler with figures of 3 for 26, while Saim Ayub picked up two wickets.
 
Right now regardless who is playing, this team is their for the taking.

The confidence, the form & flaws are for all there to see.
 
South Africa is way superior team even without some top players i expect a hammering in t20 and odi not to worry soon we will play Zimbabwe our level team

Hesson knows it but in PCB and pak cricket coach can only watch and give pressers , shows how much of aaqib is doing the call when he makes Shaheen ODI captain from nowhere.
 
Filling the team with 200 SR batters is the only chance pakistan can have, they made a mistake thinking we will play on slow pitches again in srilanka. We could see increasing rr was the issue
 
Pakistan is a tournament team. These bilateral losses mean nothing.

Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen, Naseem will turn up at the World T20 and put up clutch performances.

Wait for hesson innovative statistics to leave out this match and show pak in perfect colours also wait for openers boundaries and sixers stats for ever leaving out humiliation after humiliation.

Majority of times Fakhar sucks. But to his credit at least he tries to be aggressive. The right kind of attitude to play T20’s. He is the best they have at the top.
 
South African pacers also bowled better lines and lengths and looked more threatening…hence got just rewards.

Shaheen and Naseem bowled too many loose and wide deliveries and hence went for plenty.
