South Africa finish Day 1 at 82/3 after Pakistan posted 211 in the first innings of the first Test match

these clowns don't deserve to represent the country of Pakistan. look at the speed of Abbas and Naseem, who is capable of bowling 140 but is bowling 134 got a nice-looking belly coming out what a **** show

You can't afford to at 120kph.

How has be bowled today? Didn't manage to catch much of his spell. Caught his last over where he was a bit wayward.

Pakistan had essentially dropped him because batsmen figured out that all they needed to do was step out of their crease to play him which takes out any chance of LBW. As I write this seems Stubbs out the same way. Guess SA didn't get the memo.

Hasn't got his line and length so far

First ball he got it both right he got Stubbs lbw plumb.

There is no hating someone when you clearly state the truth about them.

The point I’m trying to make is that if you want to give it back to the Saffers, it has to be like a pack of attack dog mentality. They are all over Pakistan as a team, not a couple of mouthy individuals.

Pakistan in the last 10 years or so since Misbah’s influence have hardly ever had that United attack dog mentality against hostile teams.

Rizwan’s inclusion has taken it to another level, bowlers swearing at him and he spreads his arms out like Shah Rukh Khan asking for a hug.

I stick to what I said, you’ve got to be on the same page. All XI have to be a bunch of c’s when you are giving back to the opposition. In this team, the only guy who will do it is Kamran Ghulam as he’s happy to be used.

Very well said. There's absolutely no doubt that Misbah changed the psych of Pakistan cricket.

I’ve given him plenty of stick, but I will say the biggest factor in his decline has been his friendship with Rizwan
He was on the ascendency under Mickey Arthur and peaked for Pakistan in the 2019 WC. As soon as Misbah took over from coach, he was always going to be misguided. Ramiz and Rizwan made it even worse.

Last tour in SA he did same.

Went over 6 rpo for his first 10 overs
I know Abbas has just taken a wicket but I remember him in the last series against SA and he was poor. Makes no sense to bring him back because he's finished at international level.

I bet Vernon Philander, who's retired, could bowl better than him.

He played one test match, after coming off a knee injury

I don't know whose bright idea was to select this uncle abbas.
He's started to bowl well I feel. Hitting the right line and length and nipping the bowl ever so slightly.

I remember Glen McGrath once saying the reason he felt like he got a lot of wickets was because he would bowl so slowly that batsmen had time to chase the nibbly bowl to catch the edge.

More than being slow, he was deadly accurate and his length was lethal.
