He could have but Pakistan players' priorities are really screwed up.That is still more than a month away. Could have played first Test and rested in next if needed
InshAllah.Rizwan will score 300 here
They are two of the best young batsmen in Pakistan.Future as test minnow
I think Pakistan rushed it. Shan and Saim batted well in the first hour. You needed to do that for the next hour and only impose on 2nd and 3rd session. It seems like a pitch where you got to take your chances as a batter.
He's also not the same bowler prior his injury so no missThat is still more than a month away. Could have played first Test and rested in next if needed
We love to give SadqaWhat did I tell you guys? Pakistan will make a hero out of Bosch. And that is exactly what they did. Pakistan love kick-starting the careers of new players.
Super confident against 125. But scared against 145Saud the over-rated shakell against Pace...LOl
They call him the Steve Smith of PakistanGhulam cutting them like a Butcher
Thought you were going to say cakeGhulam cutting them like a Butcher
Yep. The real test was always SEAN and said has failed so farSuper confident against 125. But scared against 145
But look at that strike rate. People go crazy at strike rate on this forumSaud the over-rated shakell against Pace...LOl
Rizwan looking to bat like Viv.
He won't. He was so late on that shot. Not sure he’ll ever learn how to play bounce, was woeful in Australia and gets out attempting a pull here
Pak will get to 200. Salman will make a big score. But they really have to stop thinking this is LO cricket.Pakistan will be lucky to get 120 here
They rightly emphasise on it for white ball cricketBut look at that strike rate. People go crazy at strike rate on this forum
Why? Only a matter of time before you get a ball with your name on it. Better to get some runs on the board before you eventually lose your wicketPak will get to 200. Salman will make a big score. But they really have to stop thinking this is LO cricket.
Yes 1 batsmen scored a mighty "4"Atleast they are scoring runs. Instead of going into their shell like they usually do after the loss of wickets
Rana was criticising Rizwan position on team sheet, so should be happy nowRizwan hasn’t even arrived yet and you are already criticising him. KG and Saud are good enough to get Pak to lunch (I think)
It's only you who can only see only one batsman, the rest of us see other players tooYes 1 batsmen scored a might "4"
Pretty much expected have to make bosch into world class4 wickets in like 5 minutes
Not every batsman gets hyped to the moon, but those who do face a sky-high expectation to live up to it.It's only you who can only see only one batsman, the rest of us see other players too
Eh? That statement is only true if there is variable bounce. This is a genuine pitch. Going at 2-3 rpo is absolutely fine. There is no need to gift wickets by going hard at the ball. Shan and Saim played exactly the right way for the first 10 overs. Since then they’ve tried to be too attacking and suffered. Why? Only a matter of time before you get a ball with your name on it. Bro please simmer down. I don't care about your obsession with Rizwan. Not every batsman gets hyped to the moon, but those who do face a sky-high expectation to live up to it.
Screwing around by name and nature
This was about babarBro please simmer down. I don't care about your obsession with Rizwan.

I hoped Saim took some inspiration from Konstas. Alas. The aggression is putting them off their lines, although don’t think Bosch had much of a line to begin with
There is plenty of seam movement that is challenging the outside edge. Batters are getting unplayable deliveries fairly consistently. They need to be more careful but being positive is not the worst idea on a pitch like this.Eh? That statement is only true if there is variable bounce. This is a genuine pitch. Shakeel is the only one who tried to be too attacking and suffered. Two were soft dismissals. One was an unplayable delivery.
Exactly so wait for the right ball and be selective. That’s test cricket. You can counter good seam and read it but not variable bounce. It's often applicable even on pitches with high seam movement and this pitch has quite a bit
They'll be there somewhere behind the grassy knollMuch better boxing day crowd here.
The lack of Indians makes viewing much better.
Great viewing when the only Pakistanis anywhere on the ground are the ones facing chin music on a green pitch. What a sight !Much better boxing day crowd here.

Bank holiday in India too?Great viewing when the only Pakistanis anywhere on the ground are the ones facing chin music on a green pitch. What a sight !

As test batters they ought to handle seam but SAF are wayward also. The hallmark of good test players is shot selection and patience but these fools are just too adventurous and gifting their wickets like they are playing ODI. This was my biggest fear before the match. There is plenty of seam movement that is challenging the outside edge. Batters are getting unplayable deliveries fairly consistently. Shocking shot that wasBabar Akmal's was on 8th stump
Agreed. But except for Rabada the rest have been bowling the odd pie also. It’s just shot selection is poor. It's near impossible to counter seam movement beyond a certain level.
