Clearly the plan is to throw the Pakistani bowlers off with agressive batting. Dent their confidence and make them question their tactics and line and length

Guys I'm sorry to get off topic, but is anyone actually watching this match live? If so, where can I watch it? I'm desperate to see how we're doing...

most boards barely make enough with a Pakistan test series you expect them to broadcast side matches :O

well the way our batting imploded today didnt surprise me. Good bowling by irfan, he showed that even for a short spell he can be dangerous. a couple of more wickets and we can do it.

I didn't think they would be broadcasting in all honesty, i just got the impression from some people that they were Watching the match.

van Jaarsveld needs to go soon.

He is batting really well.

This performance made Pakistan slight favourites to win this series.

I was looking forward to below 150 scores in both innings :))

i think invite might win this. They have a good chance. they need 162 runs from 37 overs. thats 162 required from 222 balls with 5 wickets remaining. We have to take them out fast.

They may well shake hands on a draw in around 45 minutes.

Pakistan should probably give Junaid, Gul and Irfan one spell each at full-throttle. But I wonder anyway whether any of the bowlers has been showing all their tricks in this game.

There is absolutely zero chance that they're going to be winning this

A light delay... I guess that probably will be it !!

Draw for us

As predicted, with bad light preventing Irfan from being used the captains are probably about to shake hands on a draw.

It's been a good workout, and I'm glad it's remained a proper First-Class match instead of the usual 13 a-side rubbish.

:ajmal was supposed to pick up more wickets on the final day.

BUT expect the wizard to deliver in the real game.

Will be a draw now. Otlong was looking dangerous.

They can if they went ODI but not now. Lights will make sure it will be a draw. An aggressive captain would have told his team to now take this as an ODI of old and score runs.

Let the real games begin. only 3 days left.

After the first day Pak have done quite well I would say. Especially given it has been over 6 months since their last Test. PCB really should have organized another warm-up or two imo.

lol poor performance, sort of glimpse what is to come

poor batting and now poor bowling, we should use two spinner, hafeez and two pacers, gul shouldnt play, one of irfan or tanvir should play

surprisingly good match for pak considering it was their first and only tour match, i'm not sure how good the calibre of opponents were and whether it is an optical illusion or a real ray but pak played well

i think the batsmen need to fortify and barricade themselves in at the start of the innings to make sure they give themselves space to settle
gul was a waste and although tanvir would contain the batsmen, rehman would also pose a threat
Rahat and ehsan are attacking options but unlikely risks for whatmore and co

This is supposedly one of the more placid tracks in SA
