SA interestingly played two spinners today who didn't bowl too badly. Of course, in their home conditions, I would still go with:

7. Morris
8. Pretorious
9. Parnell
10. Kagiso
11. Tahir

Back-ups - Steyn (save for test cricket now), Morkel (useful when fit), Philander (Test success, ODI ambition) Kyle Abbot (Gone forever)

Do you think this SA team, with their batting, finally win a world trophy?

P.S - Anyone concerned about Amla's form?

If Both spinners bowl pretty well , it can be interesting combination.

They can play Parnell and Philander both , that will add to batting depth.

I want them to win the CT as it is the last chance for the core of ABD, Amla, Duminy, etc. to win a trophy together.

They're like England minus hitters down the lineup. Bowling is a major problem. Australia and New Zealand looks the balanced sides. But then NZ are NZ .

With Amla out of form we are really going to miss Rilley. This train was well lubricated until the Kolpak fiasco. Bowling is a bit of a concern, apart from Tahir SA need another containing bowler. Rabada has been wayward, Parnell and Morris can easily travel for 7.5 an over without having to over-attack them. They have to many loose deliveries.
However there could be a bright light in the form of Ngidi, only time will tell though.

Lower order hitting isn't SA's problem.
We have AB, Miller and Morris who can all smack a few. Also QdK tends to play a long innings when he gets going instead of pretty little hundreds he usually scores 130+. More or less he's there during the slog overs.

What I'm worried about is the lack of cover/depth. Rilley knows how to consolidate an innings in the event of early wickets and still score at a decent clip.
The major concern however is the bowling, having Parnell bowling in tandem with Morris gives me sleepless nights. I'd drop Parnell for a specialist bowler like Ngidi even if it means weakening the batting.

Top 6 is fabulous. What I meant was in case of a slugfest , lower order hitting is not consistent as in the case of England . Bowling is pretty bad though.
