Sri Lanka demolish Pakistan with massive 64-run win in first T20I at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

This is what happends when you select Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Akmal and Faheem Ashraf. Wth is Misbah up to?

Waiting for Azhar Ali to come back to take over from Sarfraz. From the looks of it, Misbah is thinking it's 2013 again.

It's a big claim when youre resting your main players, try to experiment with the team. Hasnain experiment paid off today, we found Abid and Iftikhar from the ODI series. You cannot base misbahs skills on a short period of play.
 
We're gonna have a run out between these two aren't we
 
You know it's a rare day when Sarfraz isn't the worst batsman in your lineup.

Rizwan and Umer Siddiq are both better with bat then him at the moment and there are couple of young upcoming keeper batsmen as well.
 
Pakistan already require 10 an over. And its laughable watching these guys bat for singles.
 
Wasim Khan is one of those typical overseas born and raised desis who have zero idea of ground realities. Came in and put useless Misbah at the helm when the whole world knew how pathetic Misbah is

Umar and Shehzad are no experiment. They're a failure of 10 years and now counting.

In the middle order I feel we should build someone as a power hitter the way we did with Babar for the top order. No one is going to come in and smack sides for fun. Take someone like Umair Masood who had a good U-19 career and build him in the domestics and PSL.

For now rather than selecting Umar Akmal who will give you solid 3(7) I’d go with our regular T20I side that has won us like 30/35 of our last T20I’s or something. Bowling is our strength get totals of 175+ with Babar, Fakhar, Hafeez and Malik (cuz they sticking around till after the 2020 WC) and Asif Ali and Imad can doc the hitting cuz they are better powerhitters right now than Umar Akmal.
 
Attitude and approach both are totally wrong by Pakistan

While SL started off pretty well but fell towards the end.
 
Rizwan have scored yet another hundred in first class .

Pathetic sarfraz needs to be kick out

Unfortunately, many people supported Misbah , where as we all know how poor he is tactically , Pakistan should have followed aggressively coaches like Andy Flower, hensson , Moody , etc

Goes to show how the bloke was not up for the position. At the end of the day, he's responsible for selecting Misbah despite having everything laid out in front of him.
 
Sarfraz doesn't have any power. Can't believe this guy waste 3+ years of Rizwan. Really unfair.

Agreed. It has become tiresome now to see him doing nothing either as captain or a batsman,
 
sarfraz palying an innings that is slow even by odi standards. no wonder akmaland shehzad are match winners to him
 
Hoping against hope sarfraz is not picked for test team .he is not looking convincing while on the other hand rizwan deserves to be picked ahead of him

If Misbah was a fair selector, Sarfaraz would have already been dropped. He didn't deserve to survive after the World Cup. Terrible fitness, lazy attitude, poor batting, poor captaincy, and consistently bad results.
 
Sarfaraz almost lost the match by coming 2 down in last ODI along with his poor captaincy and doing almost same thing today by scoring 13 of 19 when required rate is climbing. If Wasim Khan, Ehsan Mani or Misbah cant see that he isnt good enough then I dont know what to say. He doesnt have the ability to perform consistently with the bat.
 
Its a complete torture from Sarfaraz Ahmad. I dont know why is he still in the team. Smh
 
Misbah is probably loving this innings by Sarf, he himself used to play like this regardless of situation.
 
Problem is Wasim khan over-estimate his abilities and understanding plus he is not honest. Imran Khan got bluffed by his resume filled with academic qualifications rather than actual experience and acclimatizing on the job.
 
whats the record for largest number of deliveries faced without hitting a boundary in t20?
 
Sarfraz is really making a mockery of his slot in this team. Rizwan should be given proper position in this team
 
Cant believe a top class actor Shahzad has been around the international cricket circuit for 10-11 years

Sarfaraz should realize the inevitable and resign from captaincy himself.

Well rashid latif have said pcb doesn't have aukhaat to drop sarfraz ahmed .Doesn't know what it means but seems like a powerful backing won't allow to do so

Cricket seem to be an absolute joke in Pakistan. Of the 10 years I've been following the team, Babar is the only player that has improved while playing for the team. There is nothing pushing these guys, no pride while playing for the team. It's hurtful to support a team that has leeches that solely play for their match fees.

His tenure as a captain made sure we reached a level in ODI cricket from which we are yet to recover.

Did Latif really said that?
I used to have a great respect for Sarfraz because he is Quran Hafeez but his actions are really opposite. He fairly occupying the post rather than leave for deserving players

With Misbah at the helm I won't be surprised if Salman Butt, Azhar Ali and Kamraan Akmal all make comebacks
