You called it long back but I didnt believe it. Cant believe Pakistan are losing T20 series to SA 'B' and Lankan 'C' sides.

SA series was quite a good one, and could have gone either way. Some freak performances from South African players were just enough to push them over the line, although Pakistan won the last T20 quite convincingly.

I won't be surprised if this series is not a mauling though. If we keep the likes of Shehzad, Akmal, Sarfraz and Iftikhar around, we ain't going nowhere.

Well the hack definitely had more chances of doing so than Shehzad - atleast he’s done so in the past. Has shehzad ever played an innings even half as good as the one Fakhar did in the Tri Series final against Australia? Fakhar can be in the worst form ever but I’d still take him over a gutless Shehzad

Shehzad has played some superb innings. His maiden hundred in New Zealand, the hundred in South Africa, the hundred against Australia and 150 against New Zealand in Tests are honestly better than Fakhar’s best innings.

It is a mystery why he hasn’t been able to do it consistently, but he has got the basics right. Fakhar is a nightmare to work with for a batting coach. He is no spring chicken and his technical deficiencies have been hardwired into his system. He simply cannot evolve anymore as a player.

Shehzad was pretty good before he got knocked out by Corey Anderson. That 170 odd itself was shaping into a big 200. I hope Misbah can help him recover his 2013-2014 touch again. He was no Rohit Sharma but comfortably better than today’s Fakhar.

What question? Fakhar is garbage against good bowling and needs a lot of luck to score. Shehzad has been terrible since his purple patch in 2013-14 but since Fakhar has lost the plot, he deserves another chance to prove himself. If he still doesn’t perform, chuck him out.

We are not blessed with too many options. Can’t discard the likes of Shehzad forever.

I'm not sure how your advanced analysis doesn't take into account the fact that Shehzad has lost it since quite a long time. Has he ever shown any application or improvement whatsoever? The same issues again and again. How long will the likes of you keep hoping against hope that these two losers (Shehzad and Akmal) make anything out of their sorry careers?

Fakhar Zaman, with one hand and one leg broken, is twice the player Ahmed Shehzad can ever dream to be.

Exactly. Even if Babar is being groomed then Imad is an automatic choice in T20s and can lead the side.

None of those knocks were even as good as Fakhar’s rapid ton at Southampton earlier this year lol. Shehzad getting back to ore 2014 form is extremely unlikely. He has the same problems these past few years and hasn’t improved one bit. Atleast Fakhar plays for the team.
