He is a useless ODI player. The sooner we admit this the better. He has absolutely no footwork and will suffer to score in bowler friendly pitches or against decent bowlers.

Might as well just drop him now.

Had the problem just being not able to score in bowler friendly wickets, it could have been overlooked as most pitches today are roads.
But he can't score even on roads with a decent strike rate.
