Misbah specials are the glance and cut to pacers and reverse sweep/sweep and smash to spinners. I have rarely seen misbah pull the shot. nothing surprising since he knows his limitations which is smart thinking.

I agree. I guess its a gut feeling more than else. I mean yes, these are difficult conditions to bat, but you find a way somewhere somehow, till a ball that has your number on it gets you out.

Let's see how it goes - for now as long as neither one of these guys get out any time soon I'm happy. It's the 2nd session on the 1st day - they can take all the time in the world as far as I'm concerned. Just don't throw away your wicket right now!

It does when its Afridi. Its so exciting to watch the ball go straight up into the air and not knowing where it will end up. Usually ends up 5-10 meters away from the pitch and into the hands of a fielder but a few seconds of excitement nonetheless.
