Let me play 6 matches on the trot against bangladesh and Zimbawbee in my 22-23 matches and i will show you my SR and average.

Bangladesh is ranked higher than Pakistan and great batsmen from SA are struggling against them. Azhar played very well against them and struck at a very good rate. Besides which, how come no one else in the team did as well?

Wickets will not be for long in your hand if you have scored like only 60 -70 runs in first 20 overs

I'm not talking hypothetical scenarios or buzzwords like aggression or intent. It's a matter of fact, supported by cold, hard statistics that run rate in the first ten overs doesn't have much effect on your final total when you bat first. What is more important is not losing a wicket in the first ten overs and making sure you have plenty of wickets in hand for the final 10-15 overs.

Given the recent ODI rule changes there will be more of a need to pick up a few more runs here and there in the middle overs because it's going to be harder to score freely in the last 10 overs but seeing off the new ball(s) is still just as important as it was before.

That is the reality of things, whether you want to accept it or not.

Mukhtar Ahmed will probably get a chance if Shehzad can't get going in this series. Sami Aslam was supposedly a Shehzad replacement after Shehzad got dropped due to disciplinary issues, but Shehzad has since been recalled and Aslam mysteriously dumped by our "think tank".

My friends say I have black magic powers.

Whenever someone is playing well (NFS or football or tennis on computer) well and I am watching....I genuinely make a comment on how well they played.

I say "wow....this is amazing" (and its 100% genuine and spontaneous)

and what happens next is that they play the worst in the next few moments and lose the game.

One time my friend was playing tennis and was 40-0 in one of the games. He was playing very well and I commented (again with no ill intentions) that he was doing well.
