Afridi talks big about giving youngsters a chance but then brings guys like Zia Ul Haq and Nauman Anwer and doesn't give them a chance.

So much for big-talk about importance of not winning series and instead trying bench strength.

Irfan has played all 7 games in a row and they are supposedly 'managing his work-load'

He will get injured soon.

On thread: Bad decision to not change the team. Disappointed. Should have played Zia ul haq. Well, these players will get their chance in the zimbok series. So need not worry.

Pathetic from Pakistan as usual. Didnt change Irfan hoping he doesn't get injured. Why announce 15 man squad if you are not giving them chance.

There are so many foreigners in Srilanka, every time they show the crowd.
 
This is realy injustice to Sarfraz - I am not about dropping him, it's a T20 & hardly matters. But, if PAK was planning to rest Sarf, they should have released him from the tour. Even for emergency injury, Umar could have kept, therefore it's not about back up WK either. Sarfraz is now probably the most work-loaded player in the PAK team, should get proper rest, unless he is playing.
 
So much for testing the bench strength :))

Unchanged side. Now when was the last time we've beaten another top 8 team in all formats ?

I am really tired of this obsession with Sarfraz and also Yasir on this forum, lately.
No big deal if he isn't in the t20 squad, bro.
 
Afridi trolling us all with no changes. But it's not the first time he's trolled.
 
Mathews out with injury - that's a massive blow to SL.

Alright no excuses now. We really ought to be winning this.

In hindsight its good. The confidence of a youngsta like zia ul haq could have easily shattered against the likes of dilshan and prera. Zimbok series is next. We can try them there.
 
I wish some how we can get rid of Afridi. A brainless captain and a useless player.

Exactly, in fact Sarf shouldn't play T20 much. I was about carrying him with the squad.

I can read lots of obsession about bench-strength, rotating squad, new face........... in this forum - WHICH 'LL NEVER HAPPEN AS LONG AS THE HEAD COACH IS A PAKISTANI. PAK is stuck in cricket with their golden days 70s, 80s & 90s, even intellectually - play your best XI, don't change winning combo, someone good in one version is good in other as well, bla, bla & bla........... It 'll take only a defeat for changing the squad, which often doesn't happen in a small series - unfortunately Misbah is retired now, need to find other reasons for this.
 
It will be really embarrassing if we loose to brand new SL team
