Bollinger has bowled really well. He has been underated, he is one of the best in the world.
 
Dougie Bollinger ripping apart the Lankans, Srilanka collapsing like Bangladesh, can they make 300?
 
I think Sri Lanka would have collapsed ages ago if any of Tharanga's play and misses to Bollinger were edged.
 
I think Clarke should have persisted with Bollinger, he was the only one troubling both Dilshan and Tharanga, Bollinger could have got him, he took Bolly out of the attack and brought in spinners and Srilanka took good advantage of that.
 
I do not think batting is easy on this track... Sri Lanka had the luck at the start. and now Aus are getting lucky and bowling well here....Aus have bowled well overall in this match.. Tight match this was. but Sri Lanka should win this. but u can never count Aus out..
 
australia are doing a good job to hold lanka to a chaseable total
 
Poor batting here, they need to move the things....... I think Kulasekra should have been sent up to take a few chances.
 
Things going bad for Sri Lanka ever since the batting PP has been taken. The 3rd PP backfires more often for the batting team itself.
 
Now we have a match..hope Australia is competitive

Btw just an observation ODI match threads are much less popular than Test match threads
 
Surely Brad Haddin must be under some severe pressure now ... done nothing of note for so long.
 
This Eranga kid looks quick though, good prospect
 
He's bowling about 135-140 and has shown he can move it both ways ... in his first over at least.
 
this game can turn into a real cracker....perhaps Mr. cricket will do something special for the highlight reel.

in the background as Tony Greig was describing his action..he has a little bend in his...

i thought he was going to say arm

But here is another gem from one of the 4real worst players ever:

Dilshan to MEK Hussey, 1 run, wow, Smith nearly continues his trend of minimal contributions. Nearly run out without facing a ball. Hussey skips out and drives straight to Randiv at wide mid-on, and Smith is caught napping as he backs up a mile. The throw misses, though.

Mike Hussey is arguably the best batsman in the world. Averages 50 in tests and ODIs, and 35 in T20s. Insane.

Only Mitchell Johnson left. Cameron White is an equally bad legspinner as Smith but much more useful with the bat. Shouldn't have been dropped.
 
It's exceptionally rare that I will actually be willing a cricketer to fail every time he walks out onto the field, but Smith...

they should have bought mitchell up the order for pinch hitting...when his bowling is good his batting gets very good too. seems a left arm pacer tradition:sohail :wasim :wahab

He is good but they place emphasis on strike power and paine does not have that. Never liked haddin anyway but i feel sorry for him he cant touch gilchrist yet has to fill his shoes
