Inshallah we'll be able to wipe out the remaining runs in the first session alone tomorrow. This has really been a great test match, apart from some terrible umpiring

MoYo can hopefully remain unbeaten and get the MOTM as well

Can anyone confirm how long it's been since Pakistan won a test match , let alone a series?

If a fit Asif and a possible butterfingerless Akmal scenario is attached to this current Pak side they will be very, very hard to beat no matter which opposition they play...

Yes it is premature but I was saying it based on historical data when Pak played Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka...

It'd do his confidence a great deal but Ithink if MoYo seals it for us tomorrow, he should and will get it. he came in at 80/4 when we could've been bowled out for a small total and announced himself in no uncertain terms

Pakistan need to bat solidly tomorrow morning because the Ball is still new and over-head conditions should allow for swing. A couple of early wickets lost and panic could set in.

Here we haven't won this test yet, and people are thinking about winning the series. We still need 97 runs, we need to take care of that first. Then we have to deal with Murali in next 2 matches.

Things are looking very good at the moment and definitely in our favour....98 more runs with 8 wickets (including Butt, Yousuf, Misbah, Malik and Kamran) in hand.

But this game is not over by any means. A couple of early wickets followed by a ridiculous run out and we could have a Pakistan special (collapse)...so let's not count our chickens until we need about 10 runs to win with more than 5 wickets in hand.

Having said that, I have been very impressed by this performance. We have been (more or less) in control throughout the test, we have won session after session and for once things are looking on the up. Having played so little test cricket in the last year- two years and with so many off pitch problems, to go to Sri Lanka and beat them at home would be one hell of an achievement.

Come on Pakistan.....let's do this.

it's refreshing to see an Akram-ish match-winning quality in Aamer. I won't jump to saying he is the next Akram just yet but he sure is impressing me with his quality dismissals. Could Aamer be the next Akram for Pakistan.. only time will tell. But I sure hope and pray that this lad has a very long, consistent and memorable career for Pakistan like Akram.

With the teams we had before we didnt expect to win at all
I personally feel even if we loose this test we will still win the series. As at last we are playing with four bowlers that can take wickets

Gul
Rauf
Ajmal

instead of playing with 1-2 wicket takers and 3 stock bowler that we used to under INZI. (sometimes because of team selection other times because of injury) So only one bowler taking 5-6 wickets could win us a match. There was never a team bowling effort.
Plus we have a very strong middle order with
YK, MY, Misbah, Malik, Akmal
now only need our openers to start doing their job of leaving deliveries instead of playing them at the start of the innings.
I saw a bit of that from our openers in the 2nd innings but I dont know how long that will last
