Just play nice and easy. No need for rash shots now, just don't gift your wicket and absorb pressure.

When you got pathetic bowlers like Malinga and Lakmal bowling at you it is easier to lose a wicket as Azhar did. Thus, only way Sri Lanka may have a chance is if Pak implode.
 
Zaheer abbas is there. On a free vacation.

My criticism is constructive not because I want AA to fail or I am biased towards him, I want him to read, learn and adapt himself from my constructive criticism, thats why he needs to visit PP often and read my posts and threads about him, maybe he already has :)
 
Man I wish I had Zaheer Abbas's job. Just ride around the world watching cricket being paid top dollar.

You might have valid criticism, but you post the most relentlessly insulting posts. Take it down a notch with the language and hatred, you can still make the same content posts.

Although the batting has improved, its Pakistan we are talking about and they can throw away their wickets. See shehzad almost got out, dropped catch. They need to use their brains here.
 
Thirimanne wants to give back the 90 runs he earned :))). Shehzad scoring a :fifty at SR over 100.
 
LOLL at Shehzad barely able to acknowledge the 50 because he was so freaked by that last edge. Azhar doing some serious cheerleading for him though, that's nice to see.
 
Shehzad with two lucky shots to get consecative 4s, does he ever use his brain?

I'll take your word for it since you seem to have toned down your aggressive stance lately, but maybe you should consider constructive criticism for everyone rather than just one player who has been a consistent performer since returning to the side.
 
Malinga once again being expensive although hes bowled without some luck in that last over
 
Shehzad needs to occupy the crease now but also rotate between the wickets.

In this situation though where we are far ahead of required rate one can't help but trust Hafeez and Malik to get Pakistan over the line.
 
Pakistan looked really hopeless last month and now they look totally different.
 
By the ways i kind of liked how Hafeez literally told off Shehzad after that edge. Didn't even let him celebrate for the 50.

I see unity.

True and i trust them to use their brains, make small targets to move forward and acknowledge that they cant be contained now . runrate isnt an issue, less risks can be taken. Intent should be there to keep the score board ticking with occasional boundaries. Over attacking isn't required which can be the case when you get such good starts. A CT spot is on the line.

Said it that time also, this bunch of young players is the most promising in a long long time. Maybe the most promising after 90s. I am talking about the batsmen here and also the leggie. fast bowlers are average. Keeper is probably the best in Pakistan's history too.
 
I can never be confident with Pakistan batting. We should point out that Sri Lanka was looking good early too - got pretty far with only losing 2 wickets.

so my Canadian friend just walked in and says wow cricket is played by some fat people.

This is why i hate Malinga and co. They make cricket look so unprofessional.
 
One or two nervous strokes been played here for no reason, batsmen need to just rotate strike and play shots which arent high risk. The req run rate here isnt an issue

To me they look like they're getting slightly nervy out there with the dot balls
 
Runrate below 6 now.

Hafeez needs to take singles. 7(22) is too slow.
 
Hafeez rotate the strike for gods sake, this isn't a test match.

Hafeez is basically letting Sri Lanka back in the match.
 
Hafeez shouldnt play any rash strokes here. Just look for singles. Wait for the spinners to come. He can then score freely.
 
Hafeez is letting them back in the match here. You can't grind that great start to a complete halt.
